Day 1:
Travelling
Travelling overnight from London to Johannesburg with British Airways.
Day 2-5:
Tongabezi Lodge, Victoria Falls
Notes
On arrival into Johannesburg you will collect your luggage and check-in for your flight up to Livingstone. There you
will be met by staff from Tongabezi who will transfer you up to the lodge (about 30 minutes) where you will be
spending the next 3 nights in one of their Cottages. Your time here will be at leisure to relax and enjoy the fantastic
range of activities on offer, including walking tours of The Falls, canoeing trips, boat cruises, guided walks and game
drives.
One of the original natural wonders of the world, the Victoria Falls is a World Heritage Site and an extremely popular
tourism attraction. Known locally as ‘The Smoke that Thunders’ this spectacle is accessible from both Zambia and
Zimbabwe and it is an ideal place to combine a game viewing and water sports. There is excellent fishing, a terrifying
bungee jump and arguably the best commercial white water rafting in the world.
Overnight: Tongabezi Lodge
Tongabezi Lodge is a luxurious and unique upmarket lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River, just upstream of the
Victoria Falls. It is perfect for a honeymoon or for the discerning traveler seeking an unforgettable African safari
holiday Zambia.
The exclusive and luxurious Tongabezi Lodge, situated on a private estate on the banks of the Zambezi River is only
15kms upstream from Victoria Falls. The central lounge, bar and dining room are under thatch and there is a
swimming pool which has been landscaped into the rock face. Meals are served in the large dining room, on one of
many decks overlooking the river, in the privacy of your room or floating on the Zambezi River.
There are a large number of activities (inclusive and non inclusive), which will keep you exhilarated throughout your
stay.

Day 5-9:
Nkwali Camp, South Luangwa National Park
Notes
This morning you will enjoy breakfast in the lodge before being transferred back to Livingstone Airport for your flight
to Lusaka and onward connection to Mfuwe Airport with Pro Flight. From there you will have an hour long transfer
through the South Luangwa National Park to Nkwali Lodge where you will be spending the next 4 nights. From here
you will be able to enjoy game drives and guided walks through this stunning national park, enjoying the fantastic
game viewing, especially the elusive Leopard.
Bordering the Luangwa River, the northern and southern Luangwa National Parks contain some of the most
breathtaking and untouched wilderness in Africa. As a result of this and the parks’ successful anti-poaching
campaigns, the area has developed into a world-renowned wildlife haven. The South Luangwa National Park is
renowned for its walking safari, which allows visitors to view elephant, hippo and even lion close-up under the
supervision of professional and knowledgeable armed guides.
Overnight: Nkwali Camp
Nkwali is in close proximity to the South Luangwa National Park, which is superb for game viewing with both
woodland and grassland habitats. Leopard, Lion and occasionally wild dog are seen, but the area is particularly good
for elephants and Thornicroft giraffe. The camp has a scenic view of the river both from the chalets and an open
deck.

Day 9-15: Pumulani on Lake Malawi, Cape Maclear
Notes
After your morning activity from Nkwali you will enjoy breakfast in the lodge before being transferred back to
Mfuwe Airport for your charter flight to Lilongwe. There you will be collected for the 5 hour road transfer down to
the stunning Pumulani Lodge on the shores of Lake Malawi where you will be spending the next 6 nights. Here you
will be able to relax, enjoy the beachfront location and range of activities on offer.
Cape Maclear is one of the premier Lake Malawi destinations, renowned for its sunsets and snorkelling.
Overnight: Pumulani on Lake Malawi
Pumulani is situated on the westside of the Nankumba Peninsula in the South end of Lake Malawi. The beauty of this
lake is indescribable. The beautiful sparkling colours shimmering over the water, the clear blue skies and the
panoramic vistas truly make you feel like you are in paradise. David Livingstone named Lake Malawi ‘Lake of Stars’
for good reason. According to experts this lake is home to more native fish species than any other lake in the world.
The ten villas are situated in such a way that they blend in completely with the natural surroundings and the cooling
grass roofs reflect the African sun.

connection on to London Heathrow, overnight with British Airways.
