This game is not intended for anyone under the age of 18.We do
not recommend playing this game with your parents or anyone
else with whom you do not feel comfortable sharing intimate
details about your personal life.
Object of the game:
Do you know your partner? Do you REALLY know your
partner?! Play this game and you’re about to find out!
Couples are challenged to answer a host of revealing
questions about their love life,their preferences,and
their personal habits.All you have to do is guess
exactly how your partner will answer.Guess correctly
to win points.But do you tell the truth or should you
bluff? If you bluff,how sure can you be that your
partner won’t reveal the truth!
Before you start:
Divide into couples.Obviously it is best to be paired
with someone you are dating or are married to.
Choose one player to act as the scorekeeper.The
scorekeeper should enter the players’names on a
score sheet.
Each player should take one answer sheet,and write
down his/her name and partner’s name at the top
of the answer sheet.The woman’s name should be
written above the pink column,while the man’s name
should be written above the blue column.
Playing the game:
Shuffle the cards and deal one card to each player.
Women should read the questions from the blue
side,while men should read the questions from
the pink side.
The game is played in three rounds.
Round One: The player to the left of the dealer goes
first,and reads the first question on his/her card,and
also reads the number beside the question.All players
should write down this number along with their
answer to this question on the first line of their
answer sheet.
For example,if the player reading the question is a
woman,she reads the first question from the blue side.
The question might be “Do you like shopping with
your partner?”All male players must check off their
answer on their answer sheet in the blue column
under their name.At the same time,their female partners guess what their men selected as the answer.The
women also check off their guess in the blue column.
Conversely,if the player reading the card is a man,
he reads from the pink side.All female players answer
the question by checking off their answer in the pink
column,while their male partners guess what the
women selected by checking off a response,also in
the pink column.
Once everyone has noted down their answers,the
next player to the left reads the first question on
his/her card.As before,all players (depending on
their sex) must either write down their answer or
their guess as to what their partners’answer is (on
the next line down).
When all players have read the first question from
their card,the players should re-read their question so
that couples can check to see if their answers match.
It makes the game more fun,and more controversial,
if all answers are read aloud.Couples score two points
for every match (there is a space on the answer
sheet where players can fill in the points earned for
each question).Because the game is played in couples,
only one person from each couple should mark down
their points.After scoring each question in round one,
each couple should inform the scorekeeper how many
points they earned during the round,so a running
total can be kept on the score sheet.
Round Two: Play continues much the same as in
round one,but players read the second question on
their cards.Players do not select a new card each
round,they just read a new question.In round two,
players are given a choice of two possible answers.
Once again,after all players have read their question,
score the round and have the scorekeeper write down
on the score sheet the total points earned for each
couple during round two.
Round Three: For this round,the third and final
question is read.Players are given a choice of three
possible answers.As with the other two rounds,after
all players have read their question,score the round
and have the scorekeeper write down the total points
earned for each couple during round three.
Playing the game with
two or three couples:
If playing with two couples,we recommend each
player read three questions per round. This means
at the beginning of round one,three cards should
be dealt to each player instead of one card.
If playing with three couples,we recommend each
player read two questions per round.
Winning the game:
At the end of three rounds,the scorekeeper totals
up all the scores.The couple with the most points
wins the game!
Cheating:
Watch out for cheating! It’s easy for couples to smile,
stare,blink,or play footsies in an effort to communicate with each other.Players should always be alert
for secret signals! Any couple caught cheating must
remove their pants for the duration of the game.If a
couple gets caught a second time,off go their shirts.
Get caught a third time,and the couple will have to
finish the game in the nude.So,if you do cheat,don’t
get caught!
Note about the answer sheet:
There are six rows for each round on the answer
sheet.This means that up to six couples can play
the game.Of course,if you are playing with fewer
than six couples,not all rows on the answer sheet
will be used.For example,if only four couples are
playing,answers will only be filled out on the first
four rows for each round.
