The City of Scottsboro is proud to host the 2016 Dixie Darlings and Angels State Softball
Tournament. We are looking forward to you having a safe trip and an awesome tournament.
As you plan your trip, we want to make you aware of a few items that will make things a little
easier for you.
Dates:
Games begin Friday July 8th thru Monday July 13th “if’s” Tuesday July 12th ……..
Location:
Bynum Park -1111 Jefferson Drive, Scottsboro, AL 35768
Games:
Bracket included as of to date (subject to change)
Admission:
$6.00 per session adult, $3.00 for 12 and under (Friday, Monday, Tuesday)
Double Sessions: $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for 12 and under (Saturday & Sunday)
Concessions: Hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken fingers, fries, popcorn, nachos & cheese, ect.
Line-up cards: will be provided, they need to be turned in at least 30 minutes prior to your
scheduled game time
Souvenirs:
T-shirts, programs and action shot photos
Park Rules:
No Pets
Shirts and shoes required
No alcoholic beverages
No heelys, skateboards, bikes, roller blades, ect.
No glass containers
No tobacco products
No outside food or drinks
No coolers
No running
No soft-toss on fences or hitting into fences

Hitting Facility:
We have a new hitting facility located at our Veterans Park,
1616 Jefferson Street, Scottsboro, AL 35768. Times may be accessed at
the coaches meeting or at the fields during games.
Opening Ceremonies: Friday, July 8, 2016 at Bynum Park 4:00pm before first games. Please
arrive at fields no later than 3:45pm. Coaches and players need to be in
full uniform.
Friday Dinner:
Teams that are playing at 5:00pm will eat after their games; all other
teams will eat directly after the opening ceremonies.
Church Services
A non-denominational church service will be held at Bynum Complex
Sunday morning at 8:15am. It will just be a short devotional. Although,
this is not required, it is highly encouraged by Dixie Softball, that all
teams attend this service.

Congratulations your team is advancing to the state tournament. Each team will have a select
number of rooms blocked off. The team manager must contact Pam Stewart after the district
tournament to get your hotel and code information. Teams must put the rooms in their
names. Other family members can stay at any of these hotels in the area.
District Directors if you are attending please call ASAP, so we can reserve your room.
