WHAT
IS THIS
ALL

meant for the ones who have an

and a wish to work there, yet to
all young professionals already
putting their first steps at the
agency or client side eager to
make a giant leap in their
careers.
In Advertising Strategy course
you will cover all the steps of the
strategic process: starting with
the client brief, going through
different phases of analysis,
pursuit of insights, putting
together a brief and finishing
with the evaluation of creative
work.
Everything in the course is based
on learn by doing guiding
principle – each strategy topic is

but much more about

problem solving skills, it’s not
going to be an easy ride. After
the journey and real-life strategic
challenges, you will graduate
with the know-how and the
practical skills of how to handle
brand building and
development.
2. BRAND BUILDING
Brands only live in our
imagination, and building them
is like designing a virtual reality.
4
MAJOR
PARTS
1. INTRO
During this part students get to
know the process of making,
terminology and ideologies and
meet people who participate in
that. Advertising process is
always a teamwork, thats why
we will also touch essentials of
leadership, group work
methodologies, negotiations
techniques and a craft of
presenting ideas in a right way.
At first, you will learn to figure
out the market and competitors,
explore laws and tendencies of
services and categories,
perceive possibilities and
niches. After that, you will learn
to extract client’s thoughts, hopes
and dreams in order to
understand how they see you
and your competitors. This will
help you understand, evaluate
and clarify the field. At the end
you will be able to build a
brand that is relevant to the
current situation.
All the possible situations in this
field will be examined: brand
building, maintenance, expand
and repositioning. You’ll learn
how client segmentation works,
how to plan and explore their
experience and will get to know
the reasons of their behavior.
Every student will have an
opportunity to build a brand
from scratch: starting with an
idea and expanding it without
any limits.
3. COMMUNICATION
PLANNING
Balancing on the top of stack full
of various possible messages,
channels, situations, targets,
tools and God knows what is
rather painful. Relief comes with
ability of noticing unifying logics
behind them. Actually, it’s what
proper communication planning
is all about - finding the right
combination of mechanics
serving your goal.
Following that, importance of
this part will expose after smooth
introduction to the theory of
campaign types, various media
channels, preparation work and
different planning stages,
expectedly striking with practical
applicability of knowledge you
secretly thought you mastered.
4. BRIEF WRITING
There is extreme importance to
understand client’s business
specifics, its logics, goals and
ground behind them. It doesn’t
come too easy - different clients,
different people, different
perceptions and ways to explain
them. Professional strategist has
to have an ability to transform it
to the coherent outcome, making
it easy to understand and work
on.
Main goal of this part is to learn
how to choose the right method
solving client’s problems before
putting a strong ground for
following operations. Because
strategy that doesn’t convert into
adequate actions is not worth a
dime.
