MESSAGE FROM THE STAFF:
OBJECTIVES:
As summer approaches and kids of all ages take to the
diamond, it is once again time for the Yeah Baby! Softball
Camp. This is our 17th year in operation and the
enthusiasm and support for the camp continues to grow.
 Discussion and demonstration of basic fundamentals,
proper mechanics, drills and strategies for all positions
(i.e., fielding, throwing, bunting, slapping, base running
and pressure defense and offense)
 Mental aspects of playing the game, handling certain
game situations, situational pitching and catching
 Defensive emphasis on batter counts and angles of
where/when to be on the field
 Hitting with an emphasis on the short game including
slapping.
 Understanding the rules of the game
As high school, college and area coaches will attest, our
primary responsibilities are to instruct our youth in
proper fundamentals, technique and sportsmanship. Our
handpicked staff of coaches is there to assist your child in
reaching his/her potential through hands on instruction.
The campers will be expected to work hard, but they will
also have fun. Each skill will be introduced in a way that
will stimulate interest and a necessity to learn. On the
last day, each camper will have a chance to showcase
his/her skills during game situations.
We encourage all parents to stay and witness a
knowledgeable staff as they display and teach the finer
points of the game, while campers enjoy playing the
game of softball.

TIME:
On Monday, ages 5-10 yrs should report to the field at
8:00am. Tuesday thru Thursday, times will be 8:3010:30am. On Monday, ages 11 yrs and older should
report to the field at 5:00. Tuesday thru Thursday, times
will be 5:30-7:30pm.

COST:
The cost for each camper is $70.00, which includes four
(4) sessions, insurance, T-shirt, snack and drink at break.
Sibling discount of $10 and team discount apply
($60/player with teams of 5+ players).

RELEASE FOR
MEDICAL TREATMENT
I hereby authorize any medical treatment, which
may be advised or recommended by a physician.
Also I waive and release North Davidson High
School from all rights and claims for damages,
injuries and loss to person or property, which may
be sustained during participation in camp, whether
or not damages, injury or loss is due to negligence.
Registrations will be processed on a first come, first serve
basis. Day of registrations may be accepted Monday,
June 26 at 8:00am and 5:00pm.

WHAT TO BRING OR WEAR:
Softball shoes, socks, softball pants/shorts, softball glove
and catching gear if you play that position.
