Send-Off!
Help pack 4 suitcases with clothes needed for each season of the year!
But, you must remember what you have already placed in each suitcase…
Only 1 shirt, 1 bottom, 1 type of shoes and 1 accessory can fit in each suitcase!
Practice using visual and verbal working memory skills of up to 4 pieces of
information.
Intended for 2-4 players

Game: Suitcase Send-Off
Prep: Cut out each square. Tape the label on the
left hand side of this paper to the front of a
gallon-size storage bag to label your game.
Laminate the Directions card and insert into the
storage bag with your game pieces and tins..
Game Instructions::
: Suitcase Send-Off!
Objective of the Game: Players must pack each season’s suitcase with 4
clothing items – a top, bottom, shoes, and an accessory. This is noncompetitive game, without a clearly defined winner/loser.
Learning Target: Players will be able to retain and recall up to 4 pieces of
information in their working memory.

Ages: 6-12
Play time: 15-25 minutes
Game Set-Up: (Prior to play – cut out and laminate all game materials)
1. Place the 4 season suitcases in front of all players.
2. Choose 1 clothing item for each season to place inside each suitcase tin.
The clothing items should be different for each season. (Ex: a top for the
Fall suitcase, a shoe card for the Winter suitcase, etc.) Players should
carefully watch you put the card in each tin. Ask them to recall and tell
what is in each tin.
3. Shuffle clothing cards from all seasons into one pile and place in front of
players.
On a Player’s Turn: One player draws a card from the pile. The player
should decide which season’s suitcase it corresponds with. Then, the player
must recall and tell which clothing items are already in the closed suitcase.
Then, If the clothing item is needed to complete the outfit, the player places
the card in the suitcase. If the clothing item is already in the suitcase, place
the card in the discard pile.
Ending the Game: Game is finished when all 4 clothing items are in each
corresponding season’s suitcase.
