Player Registration System At the Nottinghamshire Football Association, we have to ensure that all youth players are registered with a team ready for the start of the season. To give you an insight as to how the process works, we have put together a simple step by step guide which should help everyone understand what is involved and how to complete and send forms correctly. All re registration forms will go out via email to League Registrars, who will then distribute to the relevant Club Secretaries. They will already have the players names from the previous season on so all that will be required will be the players and parents signatures if they want to sign on for the same team. The secretaries are asked to distribute these to the relevant teams to complete and send back to their respective league registrar, which will be printed on the form. It is important that each team clearly indicates what they want their team to be called including any colours along with age groups so it can be processed as soon as possible and correctly. We ask for the re registration forms to be completed and returned back to us by the 16th July 2015 so we can guarantee for them to be processed and ready by the start of the season. We do still accept these forms after this date; however we cannot guarantee they will be ready for the start of the season. The earlier you get them in the earlier they will be processed. Please see below an example of a re-registration form Once the league registrar has seen the form, they then send this into us here at the Notts FA for us to process. All forms brought into the office are processed in order of receipt Once the forms and cards have been produced, we then arrange for the league registrars to come to the office and collect the cards (on specified occasions postal service may be used if requested but becomes the responsibility of the league registrar). We do not encourage individual club representatives to collect direct from the office as too many areas for collection can over complicate the system. However, we do encourage clubs to contact the office by phone, email or a personal visit should any assistance be required. All re-registration forms along with new player registration forms and latterly transfer forms must go to the league registrar before the process is completed here at the office Clubs are then invoiced for the player registration card which is currently £2 per player. The league may also charge a small administration fee, but Clubs must check with their respective leagues. New Player Registrations If Clubs have a new player who wishes to sign for a team, then these forms are available from our Notts FA website. We find that it is easier for all Clubs if they are accessible at all times. Please ensure that new registrations have 2 identical photos attached in order that the league registrar is able to issue a temporary card. The process is exactly the same as dealing with the re registration forms in the respect that they must be completed and sent back to the league registrar. We accept player registration forms all season with the deadline of last receipt being the 16th March 2016. We hope that this has been a helpful guide to how the system works and if anyone has any questions they are more than welcome to contact us via Email: [email protected] Phone: 0115 9837409
