In addition to our technical legal work we really
behave as business partners. As such we act as
problem finders and problem solvers, we assist our
clients to define the best strategies and ultimately
we foster business contacts and negotiate in a deal
maker relationship to ensure our continued success.
Our clients are varied. We work for many investment
funds, banks and corporations across a variety of
sectors.
For example during FY2015, we have conducted
legal, tax and social due diligences on a group of 12
companies (EUR 80.000.000 of turnover) including
foreign subsidiaries, on behalf of three leading private
equity investment funds.
One specific example is our work advising a bank
within a cross-border M&A transaction (purchase price:
EUR 470.000.000) for the structuring and the follow-up
of three escrow accounts. Another key transaction we
participated in was when we advised an international
group to structure two joint-ventures in Africa.
