Midwest Junior Golf Schedule
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) is proud to be in the Midwest! HJGT started in 2007
and has grown ever since. The HJGT will be conducting numerous events throughout the
Midwest in 2017. This year we are hosting more than 275 events in 32 states. The HJGT will
have 8 new tournaments in the Midwest this year - all of which will be held at premiere golf
courses!
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing
junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a
competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event
a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is
eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest
junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any
other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events
and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 8 years.
Each Hurricane Junior Golf Tour event is ranked by the National Junior Golf Scoreboard
(NJGS). Most events on the HJGT schedule feature a chance for players to earn AJGA stars.

Players in the states of KS, MO, IA, NE, MN, IL, MI, and IN who are the top points earners on the
HJGT will represent the Midwest Team at the 5th Annual Hurricane Cup in Sea Island, GA on
November 25-26th, 2017. Weekly tournament winners and other top finishers in each age division
on the HJGT will also be invited to the HJGT National Championship in Orlando, Florida Dec 23rd
