Overview
C&U Americas, LLC is the North American subsidiary of The C&U Group, one of the
world’s top 10 bearing manufacturers and China’s largest bearing producer. The
company develops and manufactures a wide range of bearing products for use in
automotive and industrial markets and is dedicated to providing its customers with a
world-class resource for high performance bearings that deliver best-in-industry quality
and value.
History
C&U Americas, LLC was established to serve a wide range of customers in Canada,
Mexico, and the US. The company is headquartered in Plymouth, MI and provides full
line product support with sales, marketing, customer service, warehousing and
distribution, as well as complete application engineering and technical analysis and
testing.
Capabilities
C&U produces over 819 million high-quality bearings annually from nine major bearing
manufacturing centers, 36 bearing plants, and 18 vertically integrated component plants.
Each of our manufacturing centers are independently certified for ISO9001 Quality
Management Systems, QS9000/VDA6.1 Quality Management Systems, ISO14001
Environmental Management Systems, and SO/TS 16949 Quality Management Systems.
Products
C&U’s broad bearing range includes over 3,000 bearing styles and over 30,000 part
numbers. The complete product range covers large, medium, and miniature sizes from
1.5mm ID to 4000mm OD. Although C&U’s primary focus is on ball and roller bearings,
the company manufactures all types and sizes of bearings, including: deep groove ball,
hybrid ceramic, angular contact ball, self-aligning ball, cylindrical roller, tapered roller,
spherical roller, thrust ball, spherical roller thrust, bearing units, needle roller, water
pump, slewing ring and plain bearings. Along with a full portfolio of bearings, C&U also
offers a wide range of forged and rolled rings, machined rings, seals and steel cages.
Markets
C&U Americas offers bearing products and solutions for OEM, aftermarket and MRO
applications in a wide range of industries, including: automotive, agricultural, chemical,
compressors, construction, electric motors and electric power tools, elevators, energy,
machine tools, mining, garden equipment, household appliances, industrial
transmissions and motors, metallurgical rolling mill, office equipment and business
machines, pumps and generators, oil, and textile and paper manufacturing equipment.
