OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO WIN. PURCHASING WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING.
Eligibility: Consumers Energy Company’s (“Consumers Energy”)
Business Customer Drawing (the “Drawing”) is open to select
business customers (the “Participants”) who are at least
eighteen (18) years of age, except employees of Consumers
Energy and any of its subsidiary and affiliated companies as
well as those employees’ immediate family (spouse, parents,
children, and siblings and their respective spouses) and
those living in the same household, all of whom are ineligible.
The participant must be a Consumers Energy electric and/or
natural gas business customer with permanent facilities of
less than 50,000 square feet. The Drawing is subject to all
applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Void where prohibited.
Prizes: Nine (9) prizes in total will be awarded, as follows:
Each prize will be awarded at random to one (1) winner
(Approximate Retail Value = $1,450).

No transfer, assignment, cash redemption or substitution of prize
may occur except by Consumers Energy at its sole discretion due
to prize unavailability or causes otherwise determined solely by
Consumers Energy, but then for a prize of equal or greater value.
All taxes, if any, are the winner’s sole responsibility. Odds of
winning are depending on the number of entrants.
How to Enter: The opportunity to enter will begin on
April 20, 2017, and will end at 11:59 pm June 2, 2017
(the “Drawing Period”). During the Drawing Period,
each eligible Participant may submit their entry
online at ConsumersEnergy.com/MIS.
Drawing Restrictions: Consumers Energy may disqualify any
Participant entry that it determines, in its sole discretion, has
failed to conform to any of these Official Rules. Only one entry
per business. Prizes will be awarded in the name of the business
and not the individual.
Winner Determination: Following the Drawing Period, a
random drawing will be held with nine (9) winners selected.
The selection for each prize will occur in the order that the
prizes are listed at left.
Winner Requirements: The selected winner will be notified by
telephone and/or email on or around June 5, 2017. If a selected
winner cannot be contacted by 12:00 Noon EDT on June 7, 2017,
or does not comply with these Official Rules, such selected
winner forfeits the prize and another winner will be drawn. Any
unawarded prizes will remain unawarded.
Conditions: By participating, Participants agree to be bound by
these Official Rules and agree: (i) Consumers Energy, and its
respective subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their respective
officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the
“Released Parties”) and their designees and assigns shall have
the right and permission to use (unless prohibited by law) their
name, voice, city/state of residence, biographical information,
photograph, and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or
any other purpose in any media or format, online or offline, now
or hereafter known without further compensation, permission,
or notification; and (ii) Released Parties and their designees
and assigns shall have no liability and will be held harmless for
any liability, loss, injury or death to entrant or any other person,
including, without limitation, damage to personal or real property,
due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the
acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prize or participation
in this Drawing. Any claims arising out of this Drawing shall be
filed in the courts within the state of Michigan. This Drawing is
governed by Michigan law. Consumers Energy may cancel or
modify the Drawing if factors impair the proper functioning of the
Drawing, as determined solely by Consumers Energy. Consumers
Energy is the lone sponsor of this drawing.
