Dispensation: Guideline for merging teams of different age grades Applies to Junior Local Leagues only Capital Football accepts that there will be occasion whereby amalgamating players from more than one age grade is required to ensure that those players are able to play the game. We are aware that this issue is particularly prevalent in the junior game as such we would like to provide a policy and procedure which caters for this issue. It is important to state that the decision for any approval for this happening is managed by Capital Football. The integrity of the game must be upheld and it is important that all clubs use this process before playing a group of players out of their age grade. Clubs will only be able to apply for this dispensation on the following conditions: 1. All of the players concerned, regardless of age will be playing in a local league (this will not be considered for Premier Grade teams). 2. Clubs must state a clear reason why they are seeking this form of dispensation – unable to form a team of players from one age grade due to: a. Not enough players of the same age grade registered; b. Players absent from the same age grade for a particular period of time; c. Players injured from the same age grade for a particular period of time; d. Another reason to be clearly detailed. NB: Any dispensation requests received less than 48 hours prior to the games day will not be considered for that weekend.
