SWEEPSTAKESPERIOD:The"TaxPreparer$5000Sweepstakes"(the"Sweepstakes")beginsat12:00AMEasternTime("ET")
onJanuary27,2017andendsat11:59PMETonFebruary23,2017(the"SweepstakesPeriod").TheSweepstakesPeriodwill
bedividedintofour(4)entryperiods(each,an“EntryPeriod”)asoutlinedinthe"ENTRYPERIODS"sectionoftheseOfficial
Rules.
ELIGIBILITY:ToentertheSweepstakes,youmustbealawfulpermanentresidentinone(1)ofthefifty(50)UnitedStatesor
theDistrictofColumbia(excludingPuertoRicoandtheU.S.territoriesandpossessions),eighteen(18)yearsofageorolder
withavalidSocialSecuritynumberandmustbeatleasttheageofmajorityinyourjurisdictionofresidence(each,an
"Entrant").EmployeesofSantaBarbaraTaxProductsGroup,LLC(the“Sponsor”),GreenDotCorporation,andeachoftheir
affiliatedcompanies,parents,subsidiaries,andadvertisingandpromotionagencies(collectively,the"SweepstakesEntities"),
andanyservicepartners,andtheirimmediatefamilies(i.e.parents,children,siblings,spouse)andmembersoftheir
households(whetherrelatedornot)areineligibletoparticipateinthisSweepstakes.SweepstakesisvoidinPuertoRico,U.S.
territoriesandpossessions,outsideofthefifty(50)UnitedStatesandDistrictofColumbia,andwhererestrictedorprohibited
bylaw.Byentering,EntrantsagreetobeboundbytheseOfficialRules,includingalleligibilityrequirementsandthedecisions
oftheSponsor,whicharefinalandbinding.
ENTRYPERIODS:ForthepurposesofthisSweepstakes,therewillbeone(1)drawingassociatedwitheachEntryPeriod.There
willbeone(1)grandprizewinner(a"GrandPrizeWinner")foreachEntryPerioddrawing.TherearefourEntryPeriods.Each
EntryPeriodwillstartonFridayofeachweekat12:00:00AMETandendonthefollowingThursdayat11:59:59PMET.All
entriesmustbesubmittedduringthistimeinordertobeincludedforthatEntryPeriod’sdrawing.Forexample,EntryPeriod1
willstartat12:00:00AMETonJanuary27,2017andendat11:59:59PMETonFebruary2,2017.
ALLNON-WINNINGELIGIBLEENTRIESFROMTHEPREVIOUSENTRYPERIOD(S)WILLNOTCARRYOVERTOSUBSEQUENT
ENTRYPERIODDRAWINGS.
HOWTOENTER:Therearetwo(2)waystoreceiveentriesintotheSweepstakes.Thereisnolimittothenumberofentriesper
EntrantperEntryPeriod.
1.REFUNDTRANSFER:AsanElectronicReturnOriginator(“ERO”)usingSponsorasaRefundTransfer(“RT”)processor,
submitanRTapplicationtoSantaBarbaraTaxProductsGroup,LLC(“Sponsor”)throughtheERO’staxsoftwaretransmitter
andreceiveoneentryforeachsuchRT.AnadditionalentrywillbeawardedforeachRTapplicationinwhichthetaxpayer
selectsaGreenDotcardasthedisbursementmethodfortheRTproceeds.Eachofthesequalifyingeventsarereferredtoasa
“QualifyingTransaction”.Forexample,ifatransmittersubmitstenRTapplicationstoSponsoronFebruary2,2017withfive
ofthemindicatingdisbursementonaGreenDotcard,theEROwillreceivefifteen(15)entriesintoEntryPeriod1.PLEASE
NOTE:AQualifyingTransactionisdependentuponthedateonwhichtheQualifyingTransactionhasbeentransmittedto
Sponsorforprocessing.InordertoqualifyasaQualifyingTransaction,thetransactionmustbereceivedbySponsorby11:59
PMETonthelastdateoftheapplicableEntryPeriod.AtransactionreceivedbySponsorafter11:59PMETonFebruary23,
2017willnotbeconsideredanentry.Thereisnominimumtransactionvaluerequirement;thevalueofyourtransaction(s)will
notincreaseordecreaseyourchancesofwinningaprize.
2.MAILEDENTRY:ToenterwithoutenteringintoaQualifyingTransaction,printyour name, address and daytime telephone
number including area code on a piece of paper and mail your entry in an envelope with First Class Postage to: Tax Products Group

duringtheEntryPeriodisconsideredone(1)entryintothatrespectiveEntryPerioddrawing.Inordertoqualifyasanentry,the
eligibleemailmustbereceivedby11:59:59PMETonthelastdateoftheapplicableEntryPeriod.AnentryreceivedbySponsor
after11:59PMETonFebruary23,2017willnotbeconsideredanentry.Each entry must be submitted separately.
Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming
associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries
in this Sweepstakes. Incomplete, unreadable, inaccurate, unintelligible or late entries or entries which otherwise do not comply with
these Official Rules will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, delayed, illegible, incomplete, mutilated,
postage due, or misdirected entries.
IntheeventofuncertaintyastotheidentityofanEntrant,thatEntrantwillbedisqualified.Nomechanicallyorprogrammatically
reproducedentriesarepermitted.SponsorwillnotverifyreceiptofentriesforEntrants.Allentriessubmittedbecomethesole
propertyofSponsorandwillnotbereturned.Sponsorisnotresponsibleforlost,late,misdirected,illegibleordamagedentries.
RANDOMDRAWINGS/ODDSOFWINNING:ForeachEntryPeriodduringtheSweepstakes,one(1)potentialGrandPrizeWinner
willbeselectedinarandomdrawingfromamongalleligibleentriesreceivedforthatrespectiveEntryPeriod.Allnon-winning
eligibleentriesfromthepreviousEntryPerioddrawingswillNOTcarryovertosubsequentEntryPerioddrawings.Judges
decisionsarefinal.OddsofwinningdependuponthetotalnumberofeligibleentriesreceivedforeachEntryPeriod.
PRIZES:One(1)GrandPrizeWinnerperEntryPeriodwillreceive$5,000(the"GrandPrize").IfaGrandPrizeWinnerhasanopen
GreenDotaccountingoodstanding,theGrandPrizewillbecreditedtohis/herGreenDotcard.IntheeventthataGrandPrize
WinnerdoesnothaveaGreenDotcard,acheckfor$5,000willbeawarded.TotalApproximateRetailValue(“ARV”)ofeach
GrandPrizeis$5,000.
TotalARVofeachEntryPeriodis$5,000.
PRIZERESTRICTIONS:Noprizesubstitution,exceptatSponsor’ssolediscretionorasotherwiseprovidedherein.GrandPrizesare
nottransferable.AlltaxesontheGrandPrizesarethesoleresponsibilityoftheGrandPrizeWinnersandarenottransferable.
GrandPrizeWinnersaresolelyresponsibleforallotherexpensesnotspecifiedherein,includingbutnotlimitedtoapplicable

SponsorreservestherighttoexcludeentriesfromanyEntrantorpotentialanyGrandPrizeWinnerthatissuspectedoftheft,

NOTIFICATION/PRIZECLAIMS:EachpotentialGrandPrizeWinnerwillbecontactedbytelephone,emailoranyotheravailable
contactsourceprovidedatthetimeofentrywithinfive(5)businessdaysofeachEntryPeriod'sdrawingdate(the"Notification").
ThepotentialGrandPrizeWinnersmustsignandreturn,withinfive(5)daysofreceipt,anAffidavitofEligibility/Liability/Publicity
ReleaseandanIRSW-9Form(the"Paperwork")inordertoclaimtheGrandPrize.IfapotentialGrandPrizeWinnerfailstoreturn
thePaperworkwithinthattime,iftheGrandPrizeNotificationisreturnedasundeliverable,orifanEntrantisfoundtobe
ineligible,orifhe/shedoesnotcomplywiththeOfficialRules,thenthepotentialGrandPrizeWinnerwillbedisqualifiedandan
alternateGrandPrizeWinnermaybeselectedthrougharandomdrawingfromtheremainingnon-winningeligibleentries
receivedduringthatrespectiveEntryPeriod.EvenifthenameofapotentialGrandPrizeWinnerispubliclyannounced,the

Winner’sname,photograph,likeness,statements,biographicalinformationandvoiceonaworldwidebasis,andinallformsof

fromparticipatinginthisSweepstakesorformtheacceptance,possession,oruseormisuseofanyGrandPrize.Thislimitationof
liabilityisacomprehensivelimitationofliabilitythatappliestoalldamagesofanykind,including,withoutlimitation,
