FALKIRK BRIDGE CLUB
We are returning to the Park Hotel in Montrose, for the annual Congress
hosted by Falkirk BC. Our aim is to play bridge with friends new and old and
make sure that everybody has a wonderful time.
Falkirk BC would be delighted to welcome all bridge enthusiasts to join us for
what is always an enjoyable and very sociable bridge event open to all. Nonresidents are of course welcome to join us for the bridge – and you’ll be very
welcome at the Après Bridge as well.
Dinner will be served in the restaurant from 6.15pm to 7pm and lunch from
12.30pm to 1.15pm. Please aim to be on time to allow the hotel to deliver your
meals with the excellent service they always provide and to ensure that the
bridge sessions can start on time.

early as possible to avoid disappointment.

BRIDGE IN MONTROSE
The Park Hotel, 3 Star AA and Scottish Tourist Board, is conveniently
situated on the mid links between the town centre and the beach. All
bedrooms have en-suite bath or shower, telephone, colour TV and
tea/coffee makers.
A 3-night package (from dinner on Friday until breakfast on Monday)
is available for £207 inclusive of buffet lunch on Saturday and Sunday
(there is a £10 supplement for single occupancy of twin/double rooms
on Sunday night).
A 2-night package (from dinner on Friday until lunch on Sunday) is
available for £138
Hotel Cancellation Policy
In the case of early departure, the hotel will charge the full amount of
the original booking i.e. if the 3-night package is booked and you
choose to depart on Sunday instead, you will still be charged for the 3
nights
BOOKINGS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE HOTEL
Application s for accommodation must be made on the entry form and
accompanied by the appropriate bridge fees.
CONGRESS CONDITIONS
PUNCTUALITY will be expected at all sessions in order that the
Congress runs smoothly. Please be in the play room 5 minutes before
the due start time.
DRESS: Dress code for evening sessions is smart/casual.
SMOKING: No smoking is permitted in the play areas at any time.
The person making the application is responsible for ensuring that
partner and/or team-mates are aware of these conditions.

In the case of visitors wishing to play in single events a fee of £7.00
per session will be charged: ie Congress Teams and Pairs at £14.00 per
player; Friday Afternoon and Sunday Swiss Pairs at £7.00 per player.
Juniors may enter free of charge.
