What is Choose to Move
Choose to Move is a 6 month personal planning and support program designed to help you
engage in physical activity.

service that is offered by the recreation centre, such as ActivAge™ fitness class, swimming in the

to learn setting goals, healthy weight management, reducing stress and anxiety and other
health related topics (4 meetings in total). The meetings are one hour in duration.

about the evaluation at your first group meeting – you do not need to do anything until then unless
they have questions for the research team.
Once you register for Choose to Move, you will be provided with two documents
1. Invitation letter to participate in the Choose to Move evaluation
2. Choose to Move evaluation consent form
