Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
Welcome to a brand new school year filled with promises of much
learning and excitement! My name is Isabel Gonzalez, and I am ecstatic to say I will
be your child’s Kindergarten teacher this year in the PM TOPS-Technology program!
This school year marks the beginning of my 7th year teaching, and my 6th year as part of the
EDUPRIZE family. I have taught Preschool, First Grade, and now Kindergarten!! I graduated from
Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in French.
Learning about new cultures and languages enthralls me—I truly hope to continue expanding my
knowledge in that area. Traveling around the world is one of my favorite
things to do, along with
painting, riding my bike, baking, reading, and playing with my puppies, Darla and Audrey. You will find
that I am passionate about learning anything regarding everything! It is my desire to share my love of
learning with your children and help them grow academically, physically, emotionally, as well as socially. I
am excited to meet all of those friendly faces that will make up our classroom family!
Oh, all the wonderful things we’ll learn this year! Each quarter we will cooperatively
learn and investigate one of our four Cottages: All About Me, Holidays Around the World,
Animals and Their Habitats, as well as Life Cycles. They will be so much fun!
Room 14 in Building 1 is where all the fun begins! Monday, July 24th, will be our Open House at
2:30pm, but I will be available from 8am-4pm in case that time does not work for your family. It will be a
time to get to know me, the classroom, and all the wonderful classmates your child will have. There will
also be important papers handed out, along with information regarding dismissal and where your child
will line up outside the first day of school. Attached you will find a list of supplies for the upcoming
school year. Be sure to bring the supplies with you on the 24th, along with the completed Open House
Forms, which include emergency documents. Those forms can be located at: eduprizeschools.net.

On the first day of school, Wednesday,
July 26th, I will meet/greet the students and bring them
into the classroom. Every day before school, the children should wait for me outside until I come to
greet them. Your child must be on time and present the full first day to be considered enrolled at
EDUPRIZE. Our class schedule Monday through Friday is from 11:00am-4:00pm. If you have any questions,

Supply List
Here is the list you all have been awaiting! Most of the items on the list will
be shared as a classroom family, therefore there is no need to write your
child’s name on the supplies unless I specify it.
Please make sure that your child has the following items at
Open House, Monday, July 24th from 2:30-3:30pm in Room 14.
___*15 glue sticks (packaging removed)
___*1 ream of white paper (more is greatly appreciated )
___*1 ream of colored copy paper (optional)
___*1 box of 24 Crayola crayons (24 count…regular size, not the chubby ones)
___*1 package of baby wipes
___*1 set of small headphones or earbuds (these will be kept at school all year)
___*3 plastic pocket folders with 3 prongs (1 purple, 1 blue, 1 yellow…please write name inside of the folders with black
sharpie. I will add name labels to the front later.)
___*1 box of #2 pencils (sharpened)
___*1 4-pack of black skinny Expo Dry Erase Markers
___*1 container of anti-bacterial wipes (to wipe the germies off the tables) (Optional)
___*2 rolls of paper towels
___*1 plastic pencil box (approximately 8”X5” and snaps shut)
___*A whole bunch of lovin’ to last us an entire year!
