Whereas the notification of declaring Town Municipal Area' of Shahapur mentioned in
Schedule "A" along with boundaries mentioned in Scheduled "B' as the "Smaller Urban Area" of
Shahapur and further specifying such area to be the "City Municipal Area" of Shahapur was
published as required by Section 9 of the Karnataka Municipalities Act 196+, vide 'Government
notification no. UDD 12 MLR 2014, dated:10-09-2OL4' in part- III, No.570and No.596 of Karnataka
Gazette Extraordinar5r, d.ated:10.09.2O14 and dated:20.09.2OL4 inviting objections froq all
persons likely to be affected thereby on or before thirty days from the date of publication of the
above notification .
And whereas the notifrcation was made available to the public on the day of publication;
And whereas no objections were received within the stipulated time;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 361 of the
Area'of Shahapur
Karnata'ka Municipalities Act 1964, th; Governor, hereby notify Toln-Mgnjcipal

mentioned in Schedule
Urban Area, of shahapur ahd further speciff such area to be the 'City Municipal Area" of
Shahapur having regard toi. The population of such area is not less than twenty thousand and not more than three lakhs; to

village and lins towards East all along the Northern boundaries of Sy'Nos. 530, 531, 532,
533, 414,411 till it meets the North-East corner of Sy.No.41L of Hallisagar then it takesturn rowards North and runs along the Western boundary of Sy'Nos' 4O9, 577 of
Hallisagar till it reaches to North-Wesicorner of Sy.No. 577 of the said village then further
it takes turn towards East and runs all along the Northern boundary of Sy.Nos. 577, 578,

EAST:--The boundary.starts from North-East corner of Sy.No ' 172- of Hailisagar and takes turn
towards Souttr and runs along the Eastern boundary of the said Sy.No- and then turns
towards East and runs along the Northern boundary of Sy.Nos. !69,t66,L62,161 and
further takes turn towards South and runs along the Eastern boundary of Sy.Nos. 161,
160, 15g, 2gO, 2gg, 2g7, 286, 285, 281, 282 till it reaches the south-East corner of the
Sy.No.282 of Hallisagar i.e., the point of common village boundary of Hallisagar and
Benakanahalli village-and take turn towards west and runs all along the common village
boundary of Hallis-agar and Benakanahalli village and common village boundary of
Shahapur and Benakanahalli and then Rakhamgera and Benkanahalli villages till it
reaches the south-East corner of Sy.No.SS of village Rakhamgera.
SOUTH:--The boundary starts from the intersection points of common village boundary of
Benakanahalli, Rakhamgera and Vibhutihalli villages and runs towards West by following
