2014 Recreation Connections Manitoba Conference Tradeshow Recreation Connections Manitoba is excited to host its 18th annual conference February 26 – 28, 2014 at the Victoria Inn and Conference Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and extend to your organization the opportunity to promote your products and services to the recreation sector. Recreation Connections Manitoba (RCM) is a provincial organization working alongside, and for recreation professionals. Established in 1996, Recreation Connections Manitoba grew from the need to provide an organization that was serviceoriented and open to professionals, practitioners and volunteers in the recreation, sport, parks and leisure industries in Manitoba. The annual conference is your best opportunity to directly engage members of the recreation, parks, health, volunteer, sport and leisure sectors in Manitoba. Tradeshow Highlights Each year RCM strives to put on the best tradeshow possible. Here are some of the highlights of our ongoing efforts. Hours of Operation o Based on feedback that 2 hours was not long enough and our 5 hour tradeshow last year was too long, this year the tradeshow will be 3 hours in duration, at which time no sessions will be offered so that delegates can focus on the tradeshow. Virtual tradeshow o All tradeshow exhibitors will be featured in an online tradeshow both before and after the conference on the Recreation Connections Manitoba website, including links back to your organization’s website. This will give conference delegates a chance to plan a visit to your booth at the tradeshow or help them follow up with you after the event is over. If you have special offers or promotions you would like us to link to, please be sure to provide us with the link. Twitter advertising o During the tradeshow we will be displaying a Twitter feed on a large screen, giving you the opportunity to promote to delegates the reasons they should visit your booth and how they can find you. Be sure to follow @Rec_Connections and use the hashtag #RCM14 for any tweets you would like our delegates to see. Conference Tradeshow Agreement The 2014 Recreation Connections Manitoba Conference Tradeshow (Thursday, February 27th) will coincide with the Thursday Luncheon to maximize exposure of the Tradeshow to all delegates. The tradeshow fills up fast — REGISTER EARLY to ensure you reserve your booth space.
