Owner of The Frog Golf Club
Ton van Dam of the Netherlands, is an international real estate investor with strong investment ties to the
Atlanta area that originated more than a decade ago.
Ton is known around the world as an innovative and successful real estate professional. He was a founding
partner in Multi Development of the Netherlands which was one of the largest privately held development
companies in Europe with more than EUR $2 billion in annual revenues before its sale to Morgan Stanley.
The Atlanta market and The Georgian/Frog were Mr. van Dam’s launch into American real estate investing.
This was in 1997, when Ton purchased his first acreage at The Georgian. In 2000, Mr. van Dam purchased the
Tom Fazio designed Frog Golf Club. The highly acclaimed Frog course on 170 acres is the anchor attraction of
The Georgian master planned community. Mr. van Dam owns an additional 50 acres at The Georgian for
residential development on The Frog course.
Ton van Dam’s holdings in the U.S. have expanded to more than $200 million in American real estate.
Mr. van Dam has long embraced the potential of real estate in Atlanta. In addition to The Frog, Ton’s Atlanta-area
investments include the 85 town home White Oak at East Lake residential community in DeKalb County, as well
as $10 million of various retail real estate investments.
