members reject amended offer with patient safety

MEMBERS REJECT AMENDED OFFER WITH
PATIENT SAFETY CONCERNS
The amended offer from Government does not address the threshold issue of Grade
3 and 4 skill mix, resulting in nurses having concerns for a safe skill mix and patient
safety.
Furthermore, Government have threatened nurses and midwives that if they do not
accept this offer, their position will move back to a reduction of conditions and back
to all issues back on the table.
ANMF Members statewide have unanimously voted to reject the amended offer from
Government and endorse an industrial campaign. ANMF will forward a counter
proposal to Government.
