Download newest version of Morgdkp2.

Paste the DKPInfo.lua file that I sent you in the Main MorgDKP2 folder

Path should be something like this: C:\Users\Public\Games\World of
Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\MorgDKP2
Go into your savedvariables folder and delete/remove the Morgdkp2
files. there should be 2 of them:
– C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\[your user
name]\SavedVariables\morgdkp2.lua
– C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\[your user
name]\SavedVariables\morgdkp2.lua.bak

• Go through the various menus and set it up as
show on the next slides
What Do You Do In Raids?
What to do in Raids
• There are a lot of options that you can play
with
– Setting who the ML is
– Setting who the designated disenchanter is
– Setting who the designated banker is
• Feel free to play around with those, I have not
done much with them……but they may be
useful
On Time Points
1. Open up the guild roster. Sort by name, then sort by zone
2. Take screenshots of the entire guild roster….one screen at
a time until you have the whole guild roster
3. (I recommend doing the entire guild and not just those in
the zones of interest….because I have had to deal with
people claiming that they were on time….it is helpful to be
able to tell them that there were not even online at raid
start time)
4. Announce in gchat that you have recorded on time
points….that way people know that they got their points
and go do something else, if they are not in the raid
Who Was Present for Boss Kills?
• MorgDKP2 does all this automatically. We
have it setup to log all attendees upon each
boss kill
Loot Recording

Get the Morgdkp2 loot window to pop-up

The MorgDKP2 loot window pops up after you loot the corpse with the
items to be handed out.
It will work best if the DKP clerk is the Master Looter.
If you are not he ML, then make sure that you “loot’ the mob and get the
MorgDKP loot window to pop up.
As bidding occurs…..

Right click on the item of interest. This will move the red triangle to the
item.
Left click in the item value window to change the item value. Left click raises
the value, right click lowers the value. If you need to increase or decrease
the value by an interval less than 5, you can do so by holding shift down
Once the value of the item is correct, that value will be recorded once the
item is picked up by the winnder
Make sure that you stay nearby so that your combat log sees the loot action.
How to Open the Raid Tracker
1. Start Wow. Go into the MorgDKP2 addon
and open the RaidTracker
– This can be done 2-ways:
A. Ctrl-Click the MorgDKP2 Minimap icon
B. Go into the MorgDKP2 menu and open the raid
tracker from the DKP Tracking menu (see next slide for
Screenshot)

Once a raid is complete. Log into the EQDKP site and go to the admin page. Click on the "Import
Raids" under the Morgdkp2 menu (do not use the Morgdkp menu).
Open the Raid Tracker inside WoW
Select the raid of interest (see next slide)
Click the Export Raid Button (see next slide)
Hit Ctrl-C (to copy the text screen in the small window that pops up) (see slide after next)
Go to the EQDKP site and paste the information into the EQDKP Import Raids window. (see
screenshots)
Hit the “Parse MorgDKP2 Data” button
Go through the information that has been parsed and update any fields that need to be updated.

If you erase the event name and note for an event, EQDKP will not upload any information for that event.
I typically erase the event name and note for the “Start” event that MorgDKP2 records. I simply upload
On Time Points manually. I think there is a way to turn off “Start” point recording….I just have never
messed with it
Scroll through the parsed list and update the points for each boss kill. MorgDKP2 does not know how
many points we award per boss kill. Just find the boss kill event and update the points. If a boss kill is
missing, you can add a raid directly in EQDKP using the Admin Panel utilities

and hit
“No”…unless you
want to clear your
raid database

• In the Admin panel, go to the MorgDKP2 menu and click “Export
Standings”
• In top left entry field enter “eqdkp”
• In top right entry field enter “soulbound”
• Hit the “Export EQDKP Data” button
• Click in the large central window and the text instide should be
highlighed
• Hit Ctrl-C
• Go to your MorgDKP2 addon folder in your interface/addons folder
on your computer
• Open up the DKPinfo.lua file. Select All text in the file, hit delete,
then hit ctrl-v and paste in the new information
• Save the DKPinfo.lua file
