Doaba Foundation & LODHRAN PILOT PROJECT (LPP) are implementing a project in District Layyah, Punjab, Pakistan with
financial support of DFID and Concern Worldwide. Sealed bids are invited from registered firms for the supply of
following construction material and Portable Sprinkler Irrigation System in District Layyah, Punjab, Pakistan.

Terms & Conditions:
1. Tender documents can be collected from Doaba Foundation, House no 33, Housing Colony, Block X, College Road,
Layyah, Punjab, Pakistan Phone No: 0092-606-412041 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM GMT +5, Monday to Saturday or
can be downloaded from Concern Website: https://www.concern.net/about/supplies/tenders
2. Sealed tenders should reach Doaba Foundation, House no 33, Housing Colony, Block X, College Road, Layyah, Punjab,
Pakistan on or before July 28, 2015 at 1200 Hrs GMT +5 and should be clearly marked “TENDER- not to be opened
before July 28, 2015 at 1230 Hrs ”.
3. Tenders will be opened on the same day i.e. July 28, 2015 at 1230 Hrs GMT +5 in the presence of suppliers or their
representatives, who wish to witness the tender opening.
4. In case a public holiday is announced by the Government (Due to security or any other reason) the tender will be
opened the next working day at the same time and venue.
5. A pay order/ demand draft in favour of “Doaba Foundation” with a value of 5% of the bid amount must also
accompany the bid as Tender Guarantee. Bids received without pay order / demand draft may be rejected. If the
selected bidder refuses to sign the supplies contract then Doaba Foundation & LODHRAN PILOT PROJECT (LPP)
reserves the right to forfeit the bid security.
6. Shortlisted suppliers will be asked to provide the samples.
7. The Supplier must quote only one option for each item. Bids received with more than one options and rates may
be rejected.
8. Bidders can apply for a single Lot or multiple Lots. Doaba Foundation & LPP reserves the right to divide the order
Lot wise.
9. The deliveries of construction material will be at various sites of union councils (Tehsil Chobara, Nawan Kot, Jamal
Chapri, Kheraywala and Chobara, Punjab Pakistan) and portable sprinkler system will be delivered at Doaba
Foundation office Layyah, Punjab, Pakistan
10. Tender committee reserves the right to change the quantities or cancel/reject any or all offers without assigning
any reason.
11. Suppliers must not be engaged in any corrupt, fraudulent, collusive or coercive practices including but not limited
to applying/ bidding by multiple names / companies. If any bidder is found to be involved in such practices his/her
bid may be rejected and the companies in question permanently black listed
12. Lowest price will not be the sole criteria; quality, delivery time and previous experience will also be considered
