insured for third party risks of £2,000,000 sterling per event or equivalent and that the owner and/or helm is a
member of the National Squib Owners Association. I agree to produce, if requested, a valid measurement
certificate and proof of NSOA membership at registration. I have read and understand fully Rule 4 Decision
to Race and accept that the organising authority, and any of their members, employees or representatives will not
accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to,
during, or after the regatta. I confirm that the boat entered complies with all class rules including buoyancy and
safety provisions.

Entry Fee
Up to 24th May-£60/ €65 cash, cheque or bankers draft or cheque payable to Quoile
Yacht Club. After 24th May-£70/ €75.
Entry Fee includes launching/recovery, pontoon berthing and BBQ on Saturday evening for helm and
crew. Additional BBQ guests £15
Boats may launch at any time during the week prior to the event and lie alongside the floating pontoons.

my dependant’s right to claim compensation in certain circumstances. I declare that during the event
the boat in which my dependent sails will have valid and current third-party insurance of at least
£2,000,000. I confirm that my dependent is competent to take part.

Disclaimer of liability:
Competitors are entirely responsible for their own safety, whether afloat or ashore, and nothing
reduces this responsibility. It is for competitors to decide whether their boat is fit to sail in the
conditions in which it will find itself. By launching, or going to sea, competitors confirm that the
boat is fit for those conditions and they are competent to sail and compete in them. Nothing
done by the organisers can reduce the responsibility of the owners and competitors, nor will it
make the organisers responsible for any loss, damage, death or personal injury, however it may
have occurred, as a result of the boat taking part in the racing. The organisers encompass
everyone helping to run the event. The provision of patrol boats does not relieve owners and
competitors of their responsibilities.
