2015 PRE-SEASON TEST
1. A Kick-Off A35. A15’s on-side kick is bouncing at the
A42 when A45 blocks B22 at the A46 preventing him from
getting to the loose ball. A33 recovers the ball at the A48
and the on-field officials award the ball to Team A at the
A48. There are no flags thrown during the play.

2. A 4&8 A45. A15’s punt is blocked by B22 at the A30. As
the ball is rolling on the ground A44 intentionally kicks the
ball at the A32 to prevent B55 from recovering the ball at
that spot. The ball rolls out of bounds at the A40.

3. A 1&10 B20. QB A11 drops back into the pocket and
throws a forward pass to A88 who catches the ball in the end
zone. As A11 releases the ball right tackle A77 is standing
at the B17 ½ and not in contact with any Team B player.

4. A 3&5 B35. Right tackle A75 blocks B88 in the chest at the
B33. Running back A22 then contacts B88 at the knees
while A75 maintains his initial block. Running back A15
runs off tackle for a six-yard gain.

5. A Kick-Off A35. A25 kicks the ball and it is muffed by B28
at the B15. The ball then starts bouncing on the ground
toward the goal line. Seeing that A20 may recover the ball
B28 intentionally kicks the ball at the B12 and it rolls out of
bounds at the B20.

6. A 4&6 A40. A15 punts the ball from the A25 and it rolls
out of bounds at the B30. B88 attempts to block the kick
and hits A15 plant leg causing A15 to fall to the ground.
The Referee announces: “There is no foul for running into
the kicker the ball was tipped”. Video clearly shows the
ball was not tipped.

7. A 2&5 B40. Running back A33 catches a backward pass
and runs a sweep play toward the sideline. At the B38, B88
extends his leg and trips A33 who falls to the ground at the
B36. At the snap, wide out A81 blocks B44 at the front of
his knees on the B38. This low block is back toward the
position of the ball at the snap.

8. A 2&20 A30. QB A11 hands the ball to A33 and he breaks
free before being tackle at the A48. As the Line Judge is
tracking down the sideline he has to step onto the field of
play to avoid an assistant coach for Team A.

9. A 4&6 B14. A15’s field goal attempt from the B21 is
partially blocked and the ball rolls out of bounds at the B16.
After the ball is out of bounds B22 slugs A55 in the stomach.

10. A 2&7 B10. With the ball at position three on the field, QB
A11 drops back into the pocket before being flushed out to
the top to the numbers by B88. Unable to locate an open
receiver he retreats back into the original pocket and still
unable to find an open receiver, but under defensive pressure,
throws the ball over the end line where there are no eligible
receivers positioned. A11 was at the B15 when he threw the
ball.

11. A 4&8 A49. A15’s punt lands at the B2 and bounces high
into the air toward the goal line. B22 standing in the end
zone reaches through the goal line plane into the field of
play and bats the ball to the B5. B20 who stepped out of
bounds at the B20, to avoid contact by A33, comes back
onto the field and downs the ball at the B6.

12. A Kick-Off A35. B15 catches the ball at the B3 and runs
out of bounds at the B20. After B15 is out of bounds A44
slams B15 to the ground. During B15’s run B22 held A38 at
the B34. A38 was offside when the ball was kicked.

13. A 2&8 B19. QB A11’s pass is intercepted at the B2 by B15.
B15’s momentum takes him into the end zone where he
fumbles the ball. The ball rolls into the field of play where
it is picked up by B77. B77 runs to the B10 where he is
tackled. After the fumble while the ball was loose in the
field of play B22 grabbed and twisted the facemask of A55
while both were in the end zone.

14. A Kick-Off A35. Team A trails 28-14 with 4:50 left in the
fourth quarter. A10 attempts an on-side kick. A22 is first to
touch the ball, which he muffs at the A39 and the ball rolls
out of bounds at the A43.

15. A 3& 8 B30. With five seconds left in the second quarter
QB A11’s throws a pass toward A88 who is running in the
end zone. A88 dives to catch the ball and the Back Judge
rules the pass complete signally touchdown. A88 then
spikes the ball as he stands up.
The Replay Official
overturns the ruling on the field making the pass incomplete.
Time in the quarter expired on the play.

16. A 3&12 B18. QB A11 throws a pass toward A88 positioned
at the B12. Well before the ball arrives B44 launches and
contacts A88 helmet to helmet. The pass bounces off of
A88’s shoulder and is caught by A81 at the B10. A81 runs
to the B8 where he is tackled.

17. A 2&6 B20. Wide receiver A88’s leg, in running his pass
route, brushes the goal line pylon causing it to fall to the
ground. No other body part touches out of bounds. He then
catches a pass in the end zone for an apparent touchdown
that is signaled by the Back Judge.

18. A 1&10 A40. QB A11 takes the snap and pitches the ball to
running back A44. A44 rolls outside the pocket with the
intent to pass the ball downfield to A88. Under extreme
defensive pressure and unable to find an open receiver from
the A33 he throws the ball beyond the line of scrimmage
where there is no eligible receiver.
The pass falls
incomplete.

19. A 1&10 A25. Running back A44 is positioned at the A20
when QB A11 tosses a backward pass toward A44. Before
the ball arrives B88 tackles A44. To prevent B77 from
recovering the ball A11 intentionally kicks the ball and the
ball rolls out of bounds through the end zone.

20. A 2&6 B26. QB A11 hands the ball to running back A33.
A33 runs to the B21 where he fumbles. B39 recovers the
ball at the B19 and runs to the B24 where A55 pulls him
down by his facemask causing B39 to fumble. A22 recovers
the ball at the B25 and is tackled at the B21. During B39’s
run, B15 clipped A77 at the B26.

21. A 2&14 B35. QB A11 drops back into the pocket and
throws a pass from the B40 that is tipped by B77 at the B36.
Tight end A81 catches the tipped ball at the B37 and is
tackled at the B23. Before the pass was thrown B44 held
B88 at the B30.

22. A 3&7 A30. Running back A44 runs to the A36 where he
fumbles the ball and it rolls out of bounds at the A38. After
the ball was out of bounds A55 pulled B77 to the ground by
the facemask at the A34.

23. A 3&10 B40. QB A11 drops straight back into the pocket
and sets up to throw a forward pass. B88 is closing in on
A11 to tackle him when A73 pushes B88 in the back at his
numbers causing B88 to miss making the tackle on A11.
The push in the back occurred at the B45 inside the tackle
box. A11 completes the pass to A88 who steps out of
bounds at the B20.

24. A Try B3. QB A11 requests the ball be place at position
five on the field for a two-point try attempt. On a sweep
toward the press box side of the field where A88 is blocking
(outside the numbers), A88 is called for holding B44 at the
B2. A24 scores on the play. QB A11 requests that the ball
be place at position five for a second two-point try attempt.

25. A 2&6 B44. On the last play of the second quarter QB A11
is under extreme pressure in the pocket and throws a pass
that lands at B40. There are no eligible receivers in the area.
Time for the quarter expires on the play. After the ball
landed on the ground B44 pulled A77 to the ground by the
facemask.

26. A 4&8 A40. A15’s punt is rolling on the ground when A80
pushes B22 causing him to contact the ball at the B20. This
contact with the ball causes it to hit the leg of B35 at the
B18. A51 recovers the ball at the B15.

27. A 2&10 A45. Late in the second half A11 completed a pass
to A88 who is tackled at the B20. A88 is injured on the play
and when the clock was stopped eight seconds remained in
the second quarter. Team A had no time outs remaining.

28. A 3&7 B20. Late in the fourth quarter with Team A trailing
22-20, A15’s field goal attempt is blocked by B88 and
recovered by A33 at the B21. There were two seconds
remaining on the game clock when A33 recovered the ball.
Team A had no time outs left in the game.

29. A Try B3. A15’s field goal attempt is blocked by B88 at
the B10. B15 scoops up the loose ball at the B12 and
advances for a touchdown. At the B10, B44 blocked A55
below the waist.

30. A Kick-Off A35. Near the end of the second quarter A45 is
offside as the ball is kicked. The ball lands at the B10 where
B22 muffs the ball into the end zone where he subsequently
falls on it. The game clock runs out on the play.

31. A 3&5 B37. The score is Team A12-Team B14. Team A
has no time outs remaining in the fourth quarter when A11
completes a pass to A88 at the B33. With it now being
fourth down Team A rushes its field goal unit onto the field
to attempt a field goal. As the ball is snapped Team B has
thirteen players on the field as they did not get all of their
replaced players off of the field before the ball was snapped.
The field goal attempt is no good and time expires on the
play.

32. A Safety Kick A20. Team A trails 21-20 with thirty
seconds (:30) remaining on the game clock in the fourth
quarter. A7 is the first to touch the kick at the A26 and A15
recovers the ball at the A31. While the ball was loose after
being touched by A7, A33 blocked B44 below the waist at
the A35.

33. A 3&8 B9. A88 is one yard deep in the end zone when he
leaps to catch a legal forward pass. While airborne B44
contacts A88 causing him to leave the end zone and land on
two feet at the B2. He then turns and is tackled at the B3.

34. A 4&5 B45. Team A punts the ball and it bounces high in
the field of play near the Team B goal line. The ball
bounces through the goal line plane (still in the air) when
A33 bats the ball backward and it goes out of bounds at the
B12. During the kick B55 blocked A77 below the waist at
the B18.

35. A 4&6 A30. Deep receiver B44 gives a fair catch signal at
the B30. As he attempts to catch the punted ball at the B30
he muffs it into the air. Before he has a chance to catch the
muffed ball he is tackled by A22 at the B29. B15 then
catches the muffed ball at the B28 and runs to the B33
where he fumbles the ball with it going out of bounds at the
B35.

36. A 3&Goal B7. A11’s forward pass is intercepted by B33
five yards deep in the end zone. B33 runs with ball and is
tackled at the B25. Just after the interception during B33’s
run B77 held A55 in the end zone.

37. A 1&10 A34. QB A11 drops back into the pocket looking
for an open receiver. B88 is able to avoid the block of A77
and gets to A11 before he is able to throw the ball. B88 then
lifts A11 completely off of the ground, carries him two yards
and with tremendous force body slams him to the ground at
the A25.

38. A 3&6 B35. Team A trails 24-20 and has no time outs
remaining in the fourth quarter as the ball is snapped with
0:15 showing on the game clock. QB A11 drops back to
pass and has to scramble as he cannot find an open receiver.
He runs to the B30 and in an attempt to stop the game clock
throws a forward pass that goes out of bounds at the B24.
The game clock shows 0:05 when the ball lands out of
bounds. After the ball is out of bounds B55 pulls A11 to the
ground by his facemask.

39. A 1&10 A1. QB A11 hands the ball to B33 who is tackled
with two-thirds of the ball in the field of play. The other
third is resting on the goal line.

40. A 1&10 A5. The QB A11 is under center when he takes the
snap and from the A3 throws a quick pass toward flanker
A44. The ball lands at the A2 and bounces backward out of
bounds in the end zone. The Line Judge ruled the pass
forward and incomplete.

41. A 2&6 B15. Just after the ball is snapped B44 holds wide
receiver A88 at the B14. A88 is then able is able to break
free and catches the ball in the end zone for an apparent
touchdown. After the ball is dead A55 slugs B77 in the
stomach.

42. A 1&10 A45. Following a pass completion that makes it A
1&10 B44, A88 enters the game as a substitute. Both A33
and A81 leave the field of play but A81 stops near the
sideline in his team bench area. QB A11 takes the snap and
completes a pass to A81 who is finally tackled at the B10.

43. A 1&10 A45. QB A11 completes a pass to A81 who runs
for a touchdown. During A81’s run and before the score the
Team A head coach runs onto the field at the B40 and
contacts the Line Judge. The Line Judge throws a flag for
unsportsmanlike conduct on the head coach.

44. A 3&5 B35. With just a few seconds left in the second
quarter QB A11 takes the snap and immediately starts to
place he left knee on the ground in an apparent attempt to let
time run out ending the half. Before his knee touches the
ground he stands upright and completes a pass to A88 who
scores a touchdown. Time for the second quarter expired on
the play.

45. A Kick-Off A35. B14 catches the kicked ball at the B10
and runs to the B35 where he fumbles. A44 picks up the
loose ball at the B36 and as he is being tackled at the B15 he
fumbles. B44 recovers the loose ball at the B16 and A18
pulls B44 to the ground by his facemask at the B24. A22
was offside when the ball was kicked.

46. A 4&8 A10. Near the end of fourth quarter with Team A
trailing by six points and no time outs remaining QB A11
drops straight back into the pocket four yards deep in the
end zone. Under defensive pressure A11 throws the ball
where there are no eligible receivers at the A15 and the pass
falls incomplete. When the ball hits the ground the game
clock shows 0:12.

47. A 2&8 B40. Running back A44’s helmet comes completely
off (through normal play) as he is being tackled at the B33.
B55 is also injured on the play. At the end of the play fortyfive seconds remain in the fourth quarter and Team A has
one time-out remaining. (clock and player requirements)

48. A 2&10 A40. With a few seconds left in the second quarter,
Team A has no timeouts remaining and just before the snap
A77 falls out of his three point stance. Immediately after
A77 moves forward into the neutral zone B88 comes across
the neutral zone and pulls A77 to the ground by his
facemask. 0:05 remains on the game clock when A77 starts
to move form his stance.

49. A 1&10 A10. On a sweep play QB A11, from the A8,
tosses a backward pass toward running back A33 positioned
at the A5. B88 sheds his block and bats the backward
passed ball into and through the Team A end zone. The ball
was in flight and at the A6 when the contact with it occurred.

50. A 1&10 B25. In the first overtime period A11’s pass is
intercepted by B33 at the B15. He takes two steps to the
B18 and fumbles. A44 recovers the ball and runs to the B10
where B44 pulls him to the ground by his facemask.
