Phase 3 Phonics
WALT recognise and use phase 3 phonemes.
We will be spending this half term revising and practising all of the phase 3 phonemes when
reading and writing.
Please find enclosed a phonics board game. Roll a dice and say the sound and action for the
phoneme you land on (if you don’t have a dice, write numbers to 6 and pick them at random). See
if you can think of any words including these phonemes. To extend your learning, use your phonic
knowledge to segment and blend words to write and place them in sentences remembering the key
features of a sentence (finger spaces, capital letters, and full stops).
Please complete by Thursday 21st April 2016 and let us know how you get on. Thank you.
