As a valued member and/or business owner of the Tidewater Community, we are writing
you concerning a sponsorship opportunity to support scholarships with Virginia Beach
Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 2017 Golf Tournament.
The Virginia Beach Alumnae Chapter was chartered in 1982 and for the past 35 years, we
have conducted community programs that focus on the organization’s Five Point
Programmatic Thrust: Educational Development, Economic Development, International
Awareness, Health Awareness, and Political Awareness. We are dedicated to implementing
activities that bring positive impact to our community. We understand the importance of
an education and continue to use our collective strength to promote academic excellence
and to provide assistance to persons in need.
Our DSTee on the Bee 1st Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament will take place on Friday,
June 23, 2017 at the Honey Bee Golf Course in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Your financial
sponsorship will help benefit our chapter’s Scholarship Program. You and/or your
organization can help through the following Sponsorships:



$ 300 Hole Sponsorship (Signage at Tee and Recognition at the Luncheon)
$ 200 Pearl Sponsorship (Recognized at the Luncheon and Program)
$100 Friend of Virginia Beach Alumnae Chapter (Recognized at the Luncheon and
Program)
The Virginia Beach Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. welcomes
sponsorships of all donations to participate in the Tournament sponsorship efforts. At the
conclusion of the Golf Tournament a luncheon is held for golf participants. During the
luncheon a prize and gift raffle will take place, if you and/or your organization would like
to donate gifts or prizes toward the raffle we would graciously appreciate your generosity.
