The Shropshire Junior Football League is staging the Futsal event as a essential
element of player development and it’s vitally important that all managers/coaches
read the relevant information you receive and follow all published guidelines to
ensure that games run smoothly and trouble free throughout the festival.












Please see full fixture programme and note your fixture dates - all teams will
have at least 4 fixtures across the 9 weeks.
The first rounds of fixtures start on Sunday 8th January 2017 and every
Sunday thereafter, with the final rounds of fixtures taking place on Sunday 5th
March 2017. First KO of the day is 9.15am and final KO is 4.00pm
Teams must arrive 15 minutes prior to kick off for registration and any teams
arriving late will risk not competing.
Teams with the early kick off time must not arrive before 9am as the
Sports Village does not open until then and access will Not be allowed
Fixtures are programmed as non-competitive/development basis and no
results of any games will be collated. (Focus is on Respect and player
development )
First fixtures start at 9.15am Games must kick off on time, in order to stick to
a tight schedule.
Games will be 20 minutes each way with a 5 minute break for half-time. The
game clock is continuous with no added time.
All games will be played to full FIFA Laws of the Game for Futsal, with the
exception of 4 fouls per half and goal clearances from a goalkeeper do not
need to cross the halfway line before the ball can be passed back to the
goalkeeper. Please see Futsal Rules and Regulations sheet.
Only 2 team officials per team are allowed pitch side, spectators must view
from the designated areas.
The team managers/coaches must hold emergency contact numbers and
relevant medical information for all their players.
Referees will be allocated by SJFL for each match.
If a team cancels a fixture without due course a fixed penalty fee of £25
applies.
If there is inclement weather you will be informed of any cancellation via the team
manager/coach and their contact details given on registration for the league.
If a team does have a problem they must inform at the earliest possible opportunity to
