Solutions - Hand holding - Education - Skills building - TA from AppLab, ETAC, FDA Outreach and Recruitment Recruitment material include: Brochures Posters Social Media Word of Mouth Outreach and Recruitment Northwell Health: PEEPs identify participants through - Referral from HIV care staff - Review of EHR Screening and enrollment occur - During a scheduled HIV care appointment - Via phone - Via email. Enrollment always occurs in-person Outreach and Recruitment Pride for Youth: PEEPs identify participants through: - Frequent informal interactions - Program activities (Poz and Mpowerment nights and other support services) - Events outside of PFY Screening and enrollment occur - Before or after program activities - At a scheduled time - Via phone - Via email Enrollment always occurs in-person Recruitment Successes and Challenges Successes • The majority of eligible participants presented with YGI are receptive. • Most were enrolled Challenges • Hub staff initially failed to follow YGI implementation protocols • Technical issues may cause potential enrollees to lose interest.
