2017 CRICKET AUTUMN SEASON
Dear Team Captain
The current league is nearing its end and we are looking forward to our 15-week Autumn
League.
Benoni Action Sports has been under new ownership for past year and has shown
remarkable changes and growth. We are very proud to have previously won the “Best
Arena in the Country” and “Best Bar” award. This was achieved mainly through support
and loyalty from our players. We stand by our motto “THIS IS YOUR ARENA”. Our
players are not just our customers, they are our friends and colleagues. We have a few
exciting changes and events planned for 2017, so keep an eye out on our notice boards.
If you’re looking for a competitive game of Action Cricket in a safe family environment,
whilst having loads of fun, then Benoni Arena is the place for you. All you need is 8
committed players.
Teams are graded into leagues best suited for them, prior to the start of the league. To ensure
that your team is placed in the correct grade, all new teams will be required to play two (2)grading games. Please ensure that your Registration form is in before grading games start.
Important Dates to Remember
Grading Games - Week of the 21st of February and 28th of February 2017
League Games Start the week of the 7th of March 2017
General Captains Meeting – Thursday, 6th of April 2017 at 17:45.
Medal Finals – Sunday 2nd of July 2017 (please keep this day open)
Cricket is played on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at either of the following times,
18:20, 19:40 and 20:50. Please note that all teams will need to play a minimum of three (3)
22h00 games and two Friday Games on a rotation basis.
General Captains Meeting
Captains will receive fixtures for the entire season, we will be discussing rules and
explaining how points are allocated, important dates and upcoming events.

Game Fees are R560-00 per team. Pay Before you play. ( R70 p.player)
(Please note if your team is sponsored, game fees are to be paid up until your sponsor has paid over to Benoni Arena.
Benoni Arena will reimburse you, once the sponsor has paid for your season in full)
Registration Fee of R560-00 to be paid by the third league game.
All teams will play a maximum of four 22:00 games (excluding re-fixtures and grading games) as well as 2 Friday Games.
Game changes will only be considered in extreme circumstances (require one weeks notice)
All league games must be played in order to qualify for finals.
Management has the sole discretion to move a team within leagues.
Any team that forfeits a game within 48 hours is liable for the cost of the court R1120-00 and must be paid in full before
the next league game.
Teams withdrawing for the league will be liable for R1500-00 withdrawal fee.
Teams who no show or forfeit 3 times will be withdrawn from the league and charged the withdrawal fee.
Please supply our admin staff with any preferences regarding fixtures and will try our best to accommodate you.
I, THE UNDERSIGNED, hereby irrevocably indemnify and keep identified the Owner/Management against all loss (consequential or
otherwise), damage, injury and or death, cost, interest and expense which the Owner/Management may hereafter be held liable for, pay, incur
or sustain in connection with any action, proceedings or claim being instituted against it by any party whomsoever, including the legal guardian
of the minor child, directly or indirectly arising from or related to the use of all Action Sports facilities. In respect of all players involved in the
abovementioned team including all minors. It is expressly agreed that the Owner/Management in its sole discretion may resolve any action;
proceedings or claims instituted against it and all including the legal guardian shall abide and perform accordingly.
Constitutional requirements, necessitates that all individuals/companies acknowledge our terms of service.
In the event of the account not being timeously settled in full by the applicant/undersigned, then interest at a rate of 15.5% per month on
outstanding balance is payable thereon, until the date on which it is settled in full. I hereby choose email, sms or regular post as
communication methods fro all accounts and notices for services supplied.
I/We undertake to be liable for all legal cost between attorney or debt collectors and the company as well as tracing collection fees due, should
it be necessary for legal action to be taken for the recovery of any amounts owing. I/we consent to your being entitled to obtain credit and
related information concerning myself/company at any time, and exchange/lodge and disclose such information with any credit bureau without
any further notice to me/company. I/we consent that you may use a nation credit database for tracing purposes should I abscond.
