USPSA Rifle Shooters Win 2 Team Gold Medals and 5 Individual Medals at

USPSA rifle shooters had a dominant performance at The 2017 IPSC Rifle World Shoot (WS) held at the
Patriot Park in Kubinka, Russia, securing two team Gold Medals and five individual medals—three Gold,
one Silver and one Bronze. The first IPSC Rifle WS match drew 600 competitors from 40
nations. USPSA sent 16 shooters to represent Team USA and fielded three teams—Men's Team, Ladies
Team, and a Men's Senior Team.
The Open Semi-Auto (OS) Division was the most populated with 369 competitors (62.4%). The USPSA
Ladies Team in the OS Division—Lena Miculek, Ashley Rheuark, Kay Miculek and Maggie Reese—
captured the Gold Medal. Finland took Silver followed by Norway winning the Bronze.
The USPSA Men's Senior Team in the OS Division—JoJo Vidanes, Jeffrey Cramblit, Barry Dueck and
Mike Voigt—also won Gold. Sweden (Silver) and Italy (Bronze) trailed behind the US.
In the Men's Team competition, OS Division, the US took 5th place behind Finland (Gold), Russia
(Gold), Norway (Silver), and Slovakia (4th place).
Individual category medal finishers includes Lena Miculek (Gold / Ladies), Ashley Rheuark (Silver /
Ladies ), JoJo Vidanes (Gold / Senior), Jeff Cramblit (Bronze / Senior), Jerry Miculek (Gold / Super
Senior).
Team USA's highest-placing finishers in the match were on the Men's OS Team—Tim Yackley (10th
Overall) and Brian Nelson (14th Overall). Senior JoJo Vidanes, Super Senior Jerry Miculek and Lena
Miculek won the Shootoff in their respective categories.
US lady shooters Kay Miculek (5th / Ladies) and Becky Yackley (9th / Ladies) placed in the top ten
amongst 26 ladies overall in the OS Division. Barry Dueck (6th / Senior) placed in the top ten amongst 75
senior shooters in the OS Division.
The match included 30 courses of fire ranging from five yards to 320 yards with technically demanding
shots.
