Cosmo Independent Private School’s 2016 fees are structured as follow: 1. School Fees: This is the annually adjusted School Fee per learner, which increases by Phase. Monthly fees are payable in advance over 12 months – January 2016 to December 2016. Monthly payments should be made no later than the first day of each month. Monthly payment schedules will be issued at an additional administration cost of R100.00 (One Hundred Rand only) per schedule. 3. Only written application to pay fees in less than twelve (12) months will be considered. 4. The following additional costs are not included in the above:  Textbooks (including art material and photocopies) and Writing Materials (Stationery)  Annual Development Fund **  Tours / Camps / Educational shows 5. A sibling* discount of 10% applies with the fees of the younger sibling being discounted. 6. Development Fund: An annual amount of R1 500.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred Rand only) per learner is payable no later than 1 January 2016 for existing learners and within 30 (thirty) days of acceptance for new enrolments. These funds will be used exclusively on building and facilities not on salaries and running costs. ** Development Fund values are reviewed annually. The Development Fund levy is not refundable. Additional Notes: a) A non‐refundable Application Fee of R500.00 (Five Hundred Rand only) must accompany all applications. b) Upon acceptance an Admission fee equal to one month’s school fee is payable seven (7) days after acceptance of a learner to secure a place that s offered to a learner and is offset against the school fees for the child’s first year. This fee is non‐refundable if the place is not taken up in that year. c) Fees should be paid no later than the first day of each month. Parents falling into arrears will have till the first of the following month to pay fees up to date. Parents failing to do so will be handed over for collection. All costs incurred will be for the account of the parents. d) Payments to be made via internet (EFT) or Direct Bank Deposits. In the case of Direct Bank Deposits a 10% bank fee should be added. Proof of payments has to be forwarded to Cosmo Independent Private School. Should clear references not appear for the payment made, the money will be regarded as a donation and the parents will still be liable for that particular payment.
