SERIS Statistics, Economics and Route charges Information System
sets the standard for registration of Terminal Navigation and En-Route
charges. ATM service providers are informed of revenues - daily.
Being able to calculate financial income on a daily basis is a significant advantage compared to relying on data from third parties
weeks or even months after a flight has taken place. SERIS offers
a unique opportunity for the finance department to be on top of
their task of prognosticating the company’s cash flow and financial status in a rapidly changing air traffic business.
High performance combined with flexibility, user-friendliness,
ease of maintenance and high technology have made SERIS

Based on recorded radar tracks, ICAO/ADEXP flight plans and internal ATC remarks/flight plans, SERIS logs each flight in the FIR to
legally document its lifecycle. Data are logged in the proper interchange formats for subsequent transfer to Eurocontrol, IATA, or
any other body handling route charges, thus offering the highest

SERIS includes a revenue validation feature, which checks the data
received from third parties against the live data obtained by logging the actual flights. No flight will be missed, ensuring a continuous optimisation of your revenue generation.
Further the validation feature offers many possibilities of fast
and correct auditing of CRCO revenue reports and payments. For
manual processing of flights not validated by the system; More
than 95% of all flights are validated by the system and needs no
processing. SERIS provides powerful statistics on runway load,
weekly and monthly IFR operations and revenue, or any other
statistical piece of information you may need to help increase
business efficiency and revenue generation.
Higher customer (airline) satisfaction is combined with learning

OPEN SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
SERIS is a client/server solution running on a MS Windows platform and building on commercial off-the-shelf hardware and
software components. Raw data are retrieved by SERIS through
a standardised protocols such as ASTERIX, FMTP, OLDI, CFMU,
AFTN or ADEXP.
Data are correlated into a unique flight containing corresponding
track and flight plan information and stored by the open SERIS
(SQL) server for subsequent processing. Superior system architecture enables customisation and adding of functionality anywhere
in the automated process sequence, as the need arises.
Processing and editing of data is performed in a graphic client
application at the connected operator work station(s) for air
traffic accounting, billing and status purposes and airspace decision-makers for future prognostics and detailed business planning. Output in the proper interchange format is generated for
subsequent upload to Eurocontrol, IATA or equivalent bodies.

ADVANCED STATISTICS
ATC Statistical Database, ASD, is an integrated module offering
unequalled possibilities of derivation of statistics, financial and
accounting information. Based on SERIS data, ASD collects, calculates and presents key statistics and financial figures for validation and forecasting purposes.
ASD data are stored in an open SQL database and processed data
can be retrieved through a web interface with selected graphic reports, an email interface for sending data to external users (e.g. the
CAA) or direct access using database tools like Excel, Access, etc.
WELL KNOWN LOOK AND FEEL
Human machine interface (HMI) is standard MS Windows with
user-friendly functions placed intuitively on menu bars, tool bars
and status bars as well as a client area with advanced zoom and
scale capabilities.
Furthermore, SERIS offers advanced features such as properties
on each radar plot, extrapolation to FIR border and track segment linking.
AGILE IMPLEMENTATION
The implementation time including design and customisation is
extremely short due to the modular design of SERIS and our agile methodology.
