2016 WEST COAST OPEN TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS CONDITIONS
1. A separate entry form must be used for each competitor. Fees must accompany entry forms .Cheques payable to
WATTA or direct bank payment toWATTA account BSB 016 263 Account No.4231 14261.
2. The Championships will be played in accordance with ITTF, TTA and WATTA rules and regulations.
3. An umpire whose decision is final on point of fact shall control each game.
4. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse entries and to cancel or amalgamate any event due to lack of
entries.
5. Any event, which is played as a single round robin, may at the discretion of the Tournament Committee, be played
through to completion, with no final being played.
6. No claim will be recognised should any player be injured during participation in the Championships.
7. Players will be requested to umpire by the Tournament Committee. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action
being taken against the participant.
8. Players must report to the Official's table 15 minutes prior to their events. Players absent when called to play will be
disqualified.
9. All competitors must be registered members of the WATTA or an affiliated association.
10. No gluing or re-gluing of racquets is permitted at the playing venue.
11. ITTF approved 40mm white balls will be used.
12. Events 1 and 2 will be the best of 7 games, with the first round played, depending on numbers, on a group basis. All
other events will be the best of 5 games.
13. All nominated doubles combinations for Open Events are required to wear matching clothing, thereby adhering to
ITTF clothing regulations. Opponents in singles events are required to wear contrasting colours.
14. All under age events are open to players who have not turned the particular age before 31/12/2015.
15. Doubles pairings for events 8 and 11 may be of the same sex or mixed.
16. All over age events are open to persons who have attained or will attain that particular age group in the year 2016.
17. Players entering over age events may only enter two adjacent age groups.
18. Events 15 and 16 exclude all 2016 Perth Winter 'A' grade pennant players.
19. Events 17 and 18 exclude all 2016 Perth Winter 'A' and 'B' grade pennant players.
20. If a player is not playing Perth Winter Pennants in 2016 the Tournament Committee will determine their equivalent
playing standard and thus determine which graded events they are eligible to play. The Tournament Committee's
decision shall be final.
