Race Strategy Assessments

RSA (Race Strategy Assessment) - Dial in your Finish Time
Preparing for an event of any distance takes considerable training time and energy.
Every training session you complete should add positively to your fitness and provide
continued improvements. Race preparation and strategy is an important part of this
preparation. Race Strategy Assessments (RSA) conducted through PEAK Centre, will
optimally prepare each client with specific, detailed, and individualized information regarding
their expected event finishing time. Your training time is way too valuable to leave to chance.

As part of any individuals’ preparation (whether a beginner who is completing their

ART- Race Strategy
The results from a PEAK Centre fitness evaluation (Lactate
and/or VO2) will provide each individual with their own current
and specific training paces/zones (paces/zones are not
estimated, they are measured) as well as an individual
fuelling strategy.
Recent finishing times and distances (within last 12 months)
of other races completed provide insight into an individuals’
previous race execution.
Training data (daily training activities over time) provide
invaluable and specific insight into an individual’s current
training paces and distances that have been completed in
preparation for their event.

provide only slightly more basis for race strategy development, but utilizing data from all
three factors, will ensure the best possible race strategy and outcome.
