step-by-step instructions for entering fuel seller data and advice on how to make bulk submissions.

1. You can access the Fuel Sellers Register on the Business and Industry Portal:
https://www.business.qld.gov.au/
2. Click on the complete your form button to begin the process.
3. Click the continue button.

2. Business details
1. The first section to complete is the Business details section.
Enter information that relates to the fuel sellers business. This may not necessarily be the
location where fuel is sold (e.g. a head office as opposed to the location of a petrol station).
NOTE: The ABN must be 11 digits with NO spaces.
2. Confirm whether the postal address is the same as the physical business address. Click the
appropriate button. If the postal address is different, fill out the postal address details as
necessary.
NOTE: All *required fields must be completed before progressing to the next section.
3. Once you have completed this page, click the continue button.

3. Business contact details
1. Provide your business contact details in the second section.
Enter the primary contact details for the business. The Department will use this information to
contact the business if necessary.
NOTE: The phone number requires the area code and must NOT contain spaces.
2. Once you have completed this page, click the continue button.
NOTE: All *required fields must be completed before progressing to the next section.

4. Fuel facility
1. Provide details of all fuel facilities that you operate (i.e. a place where a fuel seller supplies
petrol or diesel for sale).
This will capture the information about the site that sells fuel. An individual business may
operate multiple fuel facilities.
2. If there are less than 5 sites to submit, click the NO button. You will be shown fields for the
fuel facility.
3. If there are 5 or more site, skip to section 4.8 of this guide.
4. Below the site details section you will see fields for fuel volumes.
This section is to be filled out in litres.

5. If the fuel facility sells more than one grade of Premium Unleaded Petrol, click the yes button.
Provide details of each premium fuel grade as required.
6. If there are multiple sites under the same business, click the Add Site button. This will open
the fields for the next facility. If you accidently add a site to a business, click the Delete Site
button to remove it.
7. Once you have completed this page, click the continue button.

8. If you have 5 or more fuel facilities you can click the yes button in the Site Submission
section.
This will present the link to the CSV file for multiple sites.
9. You will be prompted to save/open the CSV file in excel.
NOTE: It is important to save the CSV form to your computer/device now BEFORE you fill it in.
10. This will open an excel file that will allow you to fill out the details for multiple sites.
11. Once you have completed the CSV form, save it to your computer or device.
You will be prompted to submit this form at the end of the process.
12. Once you have completed this page, click the continue button.

5. Declaration 1. The free text field allows you to disclose any possible inaccuracies that may be contained in
the information provided.
2. Once you are satisfied that you have completed the register, click the submit button.
3. You will then be shown the completion screen with reference number and tracking code.
Fuel sellers can download a copy of the completed form and lodgement receipt, and send a copy of the form and lodgement receipt via email. If you filled out the CSV file in part 4.8 of this guide, upload and submit the form at this stage. This concludes the process for completing the Queensland Fuel Seller Form (No.1) 2016
