Our halls
There are 19 halls of residence
for undergraduate students,
situated either on or near to
each of our three campuses:
University Park, Jubilee and
Sutton Bonington.
The best way to experience them is to take a
tour when you’re next on campus for one of our
events, but you can also explore your new home
from the comfort of your current one, through
our student video tour playlist.

A home
from home
At Nottingham, our halls of
residence are much more
than just places to live.
They’re communities, each with their own character
and lifestyle, making them the perfect base from
which to explore your new life in Nottingham.
Representing you in the Students’ Union and
organising social events, Junior Common Room (JCR)
membership is part and parcel of your time in halls,
so you’ll be sure to have an unforgettable experience.
Moving to university is an exciting time, but we know
it can be daunting too. That’s why we want to make
the move as clear and as smooth as possible.

Our food
The main difference between our halls
of residence is the catering options.
Fully catered halls of residence consist of rooms with a mixture of en-suite
facilities and shared bathrooms, plus some flats and studios. Pantries are
available for a midnight snack and we provide a small fridge in your room.
This option is great for removing the unnecessary hassle of shopping, cooking
and cleaning. You can eat breakfast and dinner with your hall friends; and there
are social events and formal dinners throughout the year. You also receive a
flexible lunch card that can be used at different outlets on our campuses.
Self-catered halls of residence offer flats and studios with a mixture of
en-suite and shared bathroom options. Studios are self-contained with
their own kitchen; shared flats offer communal kitchens and living spaces.
Self-catered halls can offer increased flexibility around your meal times.
At Sutton Bonington Campus we offer a part-catered option for blending
social time and flexibility.
