Content Rep: Bernie Gumataotao Members: The Number of students at performance levels 3 or 4 in the SAT10 will increase by 5% by SY10-‐11. At least 85% of the students will pass their classes by receiving 60% or better in their final quarterly grades. All the students will meet mastery with 85% scores in their common assessments. Team SMART GOAL 70% of all students will meet mastery level with at least 70% scores on their Quarterly exams. The SMART acronym helps teams in PLCs establish goals linked to gains in student achievement. SMART goals: Goals that are Strategic and Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Results-oriented, and Timebound (O’Neill & Conzemius, 2005) TIPS for Establishing Smart Goals: 1. Ensure your teams goals are aligned with the broader, overarching school-wide goal(s). 2. Clarify the level of achievement students were able to attain in the previous year. 3. Set a SMART goal that challenges your team to improve upon last year’s performance.
