Learn something new
It’s enrolment week between 11 and 17 September, so why
not sign up for an adult education course?
We’ve got loads of different courses starting in September,
from art and crafts to ESOL, IT, music, languages and much
more, all taking place at convenient locations all across the
Vale.

Staggered opening for St Cyres Comprehensive
(Penarth) next week
Following flooding this week, the Penarth site of St Cyres
Comprehensive School will reopen on Monday 13 September
for Year 11 pupils only.
Years 12 and 13 will be readmitted on Tuesday 14
September.
An inspection will be done on Monday morning to assess the
situation in regards to all other years and a decision will be
made as to when they can attend school.

weekend as part of the European
Heritage Open Doors Scheme,
giving people the opportunity to
explore the wonderful gardens for
Free. Whether it’s a quick stroll
around the arboretum or a leisurely
picnic in the grounds, this is an
ideal chance to visit the gardens.

Revitalise your Business is back!
29 September – 1 October 2010
Hosted by the Vale of Glamorgan Council in conjunction
with WS Marketing, this three day business support
event, held at the Bear Hotel in Cowbridge, offers a
wealth of advice from leading business experts,
seminars and the chance to hone your procurement
skills with supplier development services. It will also
play host to the South Wales Business Awards.
Entry for the first two days is entirely FREE.
The South Wales Business Awards, held on 1 October,
are ticket only at a cost of £50 per head or £450 for a
table of 10.
