It consists of teams from U4 (Little Kickers) to U14 (Under-4 to Under-14). Players will be placed on teams based on their ages. Rec League soccer is an instructional league with emphasis on fun and development. If you have any questions, please contact Rec League Coordinator Jamie Smith by e-mail at [email protected]. **New This Season, Please Read** Required Equipment for Play: All players will be required to have cleats/tennis shoes, shin guards, and **his/her own soccer ball** for each practices and games (see age group listing above for ball size). Coaches will only be provided with three or four soccer balls, the only way to ensure that your player has a ball to use is if you bring your own. This will also help with the development of your player! Team assignments: Siblings will be assigned to same team IF they are at the same level. Any parent who coaches will be placed with his or her child. No other special request (relating to friends, transportation, favorite coach, etc.) will be considered. The first 2016 Spring Season soccer game will be held on April 9 , 2016. The season will be played on 7 weekends (7 games for U4/U6/U8; 6 games and a jamboree for U10/U14). All games will be held on Saturday mornings at the Big Walnut Sports Park. The U4 age group, Little Kickers, will ONLY play on Saturdays. They will not have practices during the week. All other teams will practice once a week beginning the week of March 28 as weather allows.
