2016 Baseball, Softball, and T-Ball
Dear Potential Sponsor:
Spring is just around the corner, and it is once again time for another season of Richmond Recreation baseball,
softball, machine pitch, coach pitch, and t-ball! Many thanks to our past supporters. We would like to ask for
your support once again. Our sports programs and activities cannot take place without your help. We are also
inviting new sponsorships for the upcoming 2016 season.
The goal of all Richmond Recreation Youth Programs is to ensure all participants have fun, develop positive
character traits, improve work ethics of the participants, and attempt to teach fundamental skills of the sport. In
the past years, we have averaged over 350 kids per season. The skills learned will give the participants many
advantages as they grow as athletes and members of the community. We believe the teaching of hard work and
dedication through teamwork and discipline creates a stronger person both on and off the field. The baseball,
softball, machine pitch, coach pitch, and t-ball programs are very important to Richmond youth.
We are asking for a “Team Sponsor” in the amount of $165.00 (13U/18U), $110.00 (coach pitch/machine
pitch), or $100.00(T-ball). The 13U and 18U Richmond Recreation teams affiliate with the Tri-County League.
These teams will play in Richmond as well as travel to other communities. Coach pitch and machine pitch
teams will play games in Richmond and Hardin. T-ball teams will not travel. If you choose to be a sponsor,
your company name will appear on the back of the team shirts worn by all team members and coaches during
each game. In addition, your company will receive a team photo, in full uniform of the team you sponsor as
well, as an invitation to the “end of the year” pool party for your sponsored team.
Richmond Recreation appreciates your consideration and interest in sponsoring a baseball or softball team for
the 2016 season. If you are interested in sponsorship, please complete and return the attached form and return it
to Richmond City Hall by April 4, 2016 to ensure that your name will be on team uniforms. Thank you in
advance for your support and for helping keep our community baseball/softball pride!
