for a chance to win a pair of Kansas City Royals tickets!!
The Liberty School District Foundation wants to know why you love Liberty Public Schools! LPS students are invited to
submit a short essay or video telling us why they love their school, teacher, counselor, coach or principal for a chance to
win a pair of tickets to see the Kansas City Royals take on the New York Yankees on May 16, 2017!!
ABOUT THE TICKETS

Tickets are for the Kansas City Royals vs. the New York Yankees Nationals on May 16, 2017. Both pairs of tickets are
in the Dugout Box, section 130, Row U.
One set of tickets will include a RESERVED parking permit!
ABOUT THE CONTEST
 Essay Submissions:
o A current Liberty Public School student must write the essay but may request assistance from a parent or a
teacher to submit.
 Video Submissions:
o A current Liberty Public School student must be featured in the video message but may request assistance
from a parent or a teacher to submit.
o Videos must not exceed 1:00 minute in length.
o If using music, the student must have persmission to use.
 Two applicants will be chosen to win a pair of tickets:
o One ticket for the student and one ticket for a guest of the student (parent/guardian or another student).
o One applicant will receive a RESERVED parking permit.
 This is NOT a school sponsored field trip, students will need permission from their parents to attend the game and
miss school.
 Students (and parents) are responsible for their own transportation and any other incidentals. LSDF is only providing
the tickets.
 The LSDF aniticipates announcing essay winners the week of May 15.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ESSAY OR VIDEO

o Please note that anyone with the link is able to view your submission. If this is a concern, feel free to email
your application!
 All essays must be submitted with the attached form. Applicants may type directly or cut and paste their essay into
the box below (Your Essay!).
 Please save the form as a PDF with the following format: STUDENT FIRST NAME LAST NAME_ESSAY.
 Please save all photos and videos as STUDENT FIRST NAME LAST NAME.
 All essays and photos must be received by LSDF by 8:00 a.m. on May 10, 2017. Students will be notified the week
of May 15!

By submitting this application and you agree to the following:
 To let the Liberty School District Foundation use and share the submitted essays, photos and videos. This will include
(but not limited to) social media, digital media, website and print materials and communications.
 Tickets will be used and the game attended by the student submitting the application and not sold.
 Ticket pick-up must be arranged by a parent/guardian in coordination with the Liberty School District Foundation.
