How to Play
Skippyroo Kangaroo.
By Danny Hill and
Aron Yaghi
This game is played in
Australia
This is a map of Australia
Number of players needed
• Up to twenty five or as little as six.
Introduction of game
• This is a good game if you want to learn each
other’s names.
Step:1
• Everybody has to sit in a circle.
Step:2
Ask an adult to pick someone to go in the
middle. That person is the skippyroo
kangaroo.
Step:3
• The skippyroo kangaroo crouches on the floor
with their eyes closed. While the others chant
“Skippyroo kangaroo dozing in the midday
sun, comes a hunter run, run, run.”
Step:4
• At this stage an adult taps someone in the
circle’s shoulder and that person has to tap
the skippyroo kangaroo’s shoulder and sing
“guess who caught you just for fun.”
Step:5
• The kangaroo has to guess who tapped him on
the shoulder by listening to their voice. If the
kangaroo gets it right, the other person is the
kangaroo. If the kangaroo gets it wrong, he is
the kangaroo again.
Step:6
• You keep playing until everyone has been the
skippyroo kangaroo. If you want, you can keep
playing again.
Conclusion statement
about the game
• It is fun when you get to learn each other’s
names and voices. That’s what the game is all
about! So…..the game is fun!
