Service summary
The service provides accommodation for six
people with dual sensory impairment. Each
person has their own private room and
shares the use of communal areas.
The registered manager of 37 Redgate
Court is Barry Spicer . Barry has over 15 years
experience working at Sense with within a
residential and Educational setting
Barry is supported by a committed staff
team. The staff working at 37 Redgate Court
are given comprehensive training into this
specialist field of work.
Staff receive regular supervision to support
them in their role, together with an annual
performance appraisal.
Staffing is provided 24 hours a day and the
current staff ratio is 4:6 during the daytime
and at night 1 waking night staff and 1
sleep-in staff.
The house promotes a Total Communication
environment that encourages service users
to develop skills in both expressive and
receptive communication.
