Contest Rules
1. By entering the contest entrants agree to abide by these rules and have fun. This
contest is sponsored by Libro Credit Union (“Libro”), which is a business name used
by Libro Credit Union Limited.
2. Contest period: Thursday, June 1, 2017 to the close of business Thursday, August
31, 2017.
3. Kids aged 0 to 12 are eligible to participate in the contest. No purchase necessary.
4. Entrants must submit the contest game board from the June edition of Bill’s
Beakon newsletter with the completed scavenger hunt at any of Libro’s 31 branches
to receive one entry into the draw.
5. A minimum of a $2 deposit should be made into the entrant’s youth account for a
bonus entry (for a total of 2 possible regular entries per game board). The game
board should have the stamp to verify the deposit has been made. It needs to be
the youth Owner who deposits their cash (minimum $2) into the credit union.
Parents may be allowed to deposit in place of child on an exception basis only.
6. The game board is available in the summer edition of Bill’s Beakon mailed to youth
Owners. It is also available in branches and online at www.libro.ca/bill.
7. Existing Libro Owners who submit an entry will be entered at their home branch;
non-Owners will be entered into the branch closest to where they live.
8. Libro Credit Union staff and Owner representatives (includes Board of Directors and
Branch Councils) and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the draw for
the prizes. A separate draw will be held for children of staff and Owner
representatives.
9. If it is discovered that you attempted to enter more than the eligible number of
entries as defined, all of your entries will be declared null and void, and any prize
you might have been entitled to will be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible
entrant.
10. Odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received at each branch.
11. Each Libro branch will award one prize (31 branches total):
• A three-person tent
12. The 31 random draws will be made at each of the 31 Libro branch offices on or
before Wednesday, September 6, 2017.

13. Entrants are only eligible to win one prize.
14. Potential winners will be contacted by Libro and must reply within five (5) business
days. If the potential winner does not reply within a period of five (5) business
days, then at the sole and absolute discretion of Libro, that entrant will be
disqualified, his/her entitlement to receive a prize will be forfeited and an alternate
eligible entry will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries.
15. Participants must correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing question before
being declared the winner. Parents can help.
16. Winner must sign a declaration and release confirming compliance with the rules,
acceptance of the prize as awarded, consenting to the use of his/her name, address
and/or photograph without compensation, in any publicity carried out by Libro and
releasing Libro Credit Union from liability in connection with the awarding and use
of the prize.
17. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and
regulations.
18. If for any reason Libro cannot run the contest as planned, Libro reserves the right to
cancel, modify, extend or suspend the contest.
