SALE BY INFORMAL TENDER PROCEDURE
In order to ensure fairness, Waterfords Estate Agents has a formal process for the receipt and opening of bids. The procedure
set out below must be adhered to.
The attached ‘Informal Tender Document’ must be completed in full and must be received in an unmarked, sealed envelope
with the enclosed label attached. If this label is not attached or if there is any indication on the envelope of the course of the
bid, or if the tender had been altered in any way, the tender will be disqualified.
The office stated on the label is open Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 7.00pm, Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm and Saturday 9.00am to
5.00pm. It is the responsibility of the tenderer to ensure that the envelope is delivered to the correct address. Offers delivered
to any other address will be disqualified. A receipt must be obtained for any offers delivered by hand.
Tenders will not be opened until after the time stated below. Any tender received after this time will be disqualified. It is
anticipated that all tenderers will receive confirmation of the result of their tender in writing within 7 days of the closing date.
No indication of progress will be given prior to the seller’s decision and notification to the successful part and any canvassing of
the result may render the tender void.
Tenders must be received in the above form at the office marked on the attached label before (Insert Time), (Insert Date).

to the seller(s) and/or Waterfords Estate Agents for any costs incurred in making this tender bid or proceeding with a purchase (if accepted)
that fails to exchange contract and/or complete.
I/we understand that an introduction fee of 2.4% incl VAT of the contracted sale price or £4200 incl VAT (whichever is greater) will be payable if
I/we purchase this property at any time. This fee becomes due for payment on exchange of contracts. The total fee will be confirmed in our
memorandum of sale and must be lodged with the purchaser’s solicitor prior to the exchange of contracts and settled by the purchaser’s
solicitor within 10 days of completion of the sale. Interest may be charged at 4% per annum above Barclays Bank base rate if the account
remains unpaid after this time.
