BACKGROUND
The Nordic Centre organizes research and educational activities of mutual interest to Nordic and Chinese
scholars and students. In addition, the Nordic Centre is also actively cooperating with locally based Nordic
companies as well as national representations in the Shanghai region.
The Nordic Centre Council includes representatives from all member universities and is the Centre’s
governing body. The Council evaluates and selects the activities to be organized as well as allocate funds to
future activities. The Council meets twice every year in spring and autumn.
NORDIC AND CHINESE PARTNERS
In allocating funds to activities, the NC Council will give priority to events that include two or more Nordic
member universities and where Fudan is the main Chinese partner.
APPLICATION DEADLINES
The deadlines for sending proposal for new activities are: 10. March and 10. September. The applicant will
be notified immediately after the first coming Council meeting.
