target audience:
As the game requires speed and thought, it will
be more intuitive and fun for young ages.
The game, on the surface, is not complex and
is targeted for audience who seek competition
as well as immediate satisfaction.
That is why the game is targeted towards
children of ages 6-18.
Playability
• The player will lose a life if came in
contact with enemy.
• Controller options require the user to
use only 5 keyboard keys.
• There is no need for previous
experience in games of this genre.
game mechanics
The game will be played on a 2D platform
which enables the player the move only on
the X terrain. In addition, all objects on the
screen will share the same dimension,
while enemies have the ability to move on
both the X & on the Y terrain.
progression
The user progression will be determined by the
way the player plays the game. The player will
be awarded for accuracy in a way that for every
consistent number of shots hit, he will gain
double the points of his last shot.
When reaching 1000 points, the player
will receive a bonus life/bonus round.
When game ends (levels ended/dead),
the player will enter his name into the
score board.
decisions
The game will be played with a different
objective then the original SWW. While the
original objective of the game was indeed
to gain a high score on the score board,
the new Spite Ball will now judge your
position on the score board according to
your aiming skills.
