All Ages $168 (2 sessions) Meadow Park Sports Centre 39 Arena Public Skate Sessions Minor Hockey Scrimmage Everyone is welcome for public skate sessions. Regular admission rates apply and skate rental fees are applicable. We recommend that all participants be dressed appropriately. Helmets are strongly recommended and are complimentary. This hockey session is designed for fun giving youth a chance to wrap up the hockey season with non-stuctured playful scrimmages. This is pond hockey with full gear required. Check our monhthly Drop In schedule for public skate times Private Ice Skating Lessons Lace’em up and glide your way to becoming a better recreational skater. By yourself or in a small group, learn the proper techniques to feel more comfortable on the ice and take the right steps to improve your skating skills including stopping, starting, cross-overs, and backwards skating. Call 604-935-PLAY for your lesson today. First-timers welcome! 45 minute lesson includes admission fee and rentals if required. Fee: $45 (+ $15 each additional person) Drop-in Hockey General Rules: All participants must pay and sign in at the front desk before entering the arena. Sessions are not supervised but random checks are made to ensure levels of play and payment are met. Full Hockey equipment is mandatory and a CSA approved helmet. No body contact is allowed. Minimum age requirement is 16 years old and parents must complete a waiver for children between the ages of 16 and 18. This waiver is kept on file at MPSC for one calendar year. Maximum of 24 players and 2 goal tenders per session. Novice Drop-in: Is designed for less experienced hockey players. We recommend advanced players not attend this session (ie. Whistler Hockey Association ‘A’ and ‘Rec’ division players) and if they do the level of play is to be representative of a Novice Level.
