Everyone is welcome for public skate sessions. Regular
admission rates apply and skate rental fees are applicable. We
recommend that all participants be dressed appropriately.
Helmets are strongly recommended and are complimentary.
This hockey session is designed for fun giving youth a chance
to wrap up the hockey season with non-stuctured playful
scrimmages. This is pond hockey with full gear required.
Check our monhthly Drop In schedule for public skate times

take the right steps to improve your skating skills including
stopping, starting, cross-overs, and backwards skating. Call
604-935-PLAY for your lesson today. First-timers welcome! 45
minute lesson includes admission fee and rentals if required.
Fee: $45 (+ $15 each additional person)
Drop-in Hockey
General Rules: All participants must pay and sign in at the
front desk before entering the arena. Sessions are not
supervised but random checks are made to ensure levels
of play and payment are met. Full Hockey equipment is
mandatory and a CSA approved helmet. No body contact
is allowed. Minimum age requirement is 16 years old and
parents must complete a waiver for children between the
ages of 16 and 18. This waiver is kept on file at MPSC for one
calendar year. Maximum of 24 players and 2 goal tenders per
session.
Novice Drop-in: Is designed for less experienced hockey players. We recommend advanced players not attend this session
(ie. Whistler Hockey Association ‘A’ and ‘Rec’ division players)
and if they do the level of play is to be representative of a
Novice Level. Regular Drop-in: Is designed for experienced
hockey players and level of play represents this.
