From the Principal’s Desk
Greetings All,
Please watch for important documents in the
Wednesday emails.
Field was a great success. A special thanks
to Mrs. G and Mrs. Smith for keeping the
day organized. Another big thank you to all
our teachers and especially our parent’s
volunteers, it couldn’t have gone on without
you. Parent’s participation is so important in
a great school like ours, thank you to all for
all your contributions throughout the year.

End of the Year Events
Over the course of the next two weeks our
school will say goodbye to the Class of
2017. This week, the gym will be decorated
with their photos and there will be a baby
board (stop by and see if you can guess
which baby picture belongs to which 5th
grader!). The 5th grade will also be
presenting their class gift to the school
on Tuesday, June 6thduring morning
assembly.
On Wednesday, June 7th, there will be a
Crossover Ceremony for the 5th grade
students moving on to Coyle Cassidy
Middle School next year, and the 5th grade
will host a book scavenger hunt on Friday,
June 9thfor the younger students. All of the
students from Pre-K to 4th grade will have
the opportunity to take a free book home
after the scavenger hunt.
Next week, the 5th graders will host an ice
cream party for their kindergarten buddies
on Tuesday, June 13th. The last day of
school for our 5th graders will be
on Thursday, June 15th as they celebrate
their graduation mass that day at 10:00am,
followed by a reception at the school hosted
by their 4th grade friends.
This is a special time for our soon-to-be
graduates and I know you join me in
wishing them the best!

Diversity Hall of Flags
The cost is $25/flag. The flags are 3’x 5’ and
will be hung around the balcony rim of our
auditorium with your family name. Please
contact Mr. O’Brien or Mrs. Smith by email

Our top wall around the auditorium is full
and looks great, now we start the lower wall.

Financial Assistance
Please note any requests for financial aid
need to be in by June 1st, contact Mrs. Smith
for what information we need by Thursday.
Remember all assistance has to be applied
for yearly, thank you.
In House financial aid decisions will be
made in June.

fund in the first half of the year. You can
always help out with a tax exempt donation
during the entire year. You can go to our

Yellow Brick Road Project- For a $50
donation we will produce a plaque with your
child’s name and graduation year engraved
(SM alumni & former employees name
plates can also be purchased) and we’ll
attach it to our arches in the entry foyer.
This will create a lasting legacy for you and
your children!

Students/families without the monetary
means necessary to attend our great school
