Projectile Motion in Everyday Life
1.Passing the basketball--- the projectile motion takes place when the players leave the ground to give
the ball up.
2.Surfing--- the projectile motion occurs when the surfer leaves the water for a split second.
3. Kicking the soccer ball--- the projectile motion begins when the player kicks the ball between the
other players legs.
4. Serving the Tennis Ball--- the projectile motion occurs when the ball leaves the women’s hand and
goes into the air.
5. Jumping over the track bar--- the motion takes place when the track people jump into the air and
leave the ground.
6. Throwing away the trash--- the projectile motion begins when the trash leaves the guys hand and
flies into the air.
7. Apple falling from the tree--- when the apple falls from the tree the projectile motion occurs.
8. Jumping into a swimming pool--- the projectile motion takes place when the swimmer jumps to his
maximum height and when he leaves the diving board.
9. Hitting the volleyball--- when the players on a volleyball team go to hit the ball, the projectile motion
is when the volleyball goes from one of the players hand and goes in the air (projectile) to the other
players hand.
10. Hitting the golf ball--- when the player hits the ball and it goes into the air at its maximum height
(projectile) then falls to see if it goes in the hole.
